If I remember correctly this item was in PTR for patch 1.11 and it was a locked rogue's diary that couldn't be open no matter what skill. I guess they removed it because it rogues seemed more frustrated then humored. The origin of this version I'm not to sure of.

The word diary comes from the latin word diaria, meaning "days". And as we all know, assassins strike in the night... ;)

I just got this in a lockbox, and wondering what it was, i naturally turned to Wowhead. Thanks for the advice on it being "Vendor trash" and Pointless. :)

The real question is if all the pages are blank, how can you tell it is a rogue's diary? I picked it off of a dwarf warrior, seems like it would be a warrior's diary which would make sense because they are illiterate.

Ok, semi-serious question: Is there an item "Lemon juice" we could use of the "Rogue's Diary" item, to make the text wrote in invisible ink re-appear ?
That would be a nice secret.
