I'm reading this as both of the effects, the strength and the health, lasting 15 seconds, but as I can't make these yet I'm uncertain. Can anyone confirm this?

A lot of dungeon mobs designed by Blizzard have enrage mechanics when they hit ~20%. Could see this potion being popular with melee DPS on such encounters.

As a Protection Spec Warrior I love these potions when raiding content at 70! It's absolutely PERFECT when you use the potion and hit, "Last Stand (increases health by 30% for 20 secs)," right afterwards. Just to show you a basic example of how effective it is:

Say you have a hit points of: 10,000 HP Unbuffed. A rather easily obtainable stat @ high 60's to 70.

HP: 10,000
Last Stand HP w/o Heroic Pot: 13,000

HP w/ Heroic Pot: 10,700
Last Stand HP w/ Heroic Pot: 13,910

Essentially this potion gives an increase of "910 HP," almost 1K "free" HP if you use it effectively with Last Stand (assuming your max HP is 10K), and even "a bit" more so if you have more than 10K HP. When raiding especially with all the "raid buffs" you'll have, the increase is really dramatic the moment you use the pot. ~900 hp is like "temporarily granting ~90 stamina," for the next 15 seconds.

Not to mention 70 str also gives a few "points," in block for warriors. A really nice bonus indeed. Only thing to look out for is that it shares cooldowns with health pots, so keep that in mind if you continue to get hit really hard after the effects wear off.

Seriously, this'd be pretty useful for tanks and DPS warriors/paladins, for different reasons.

As a raid tank I would just as soon use my potion cooldown for Ironshield potions when tanking a hard hitting boss. At a time I am using last stand, threat is not an issue (most likely late in a fight) and the 700-910 health that could be gained for a mere 15 seconds is heavily outweighted by the several thousand points of preventatively mitigated damage from the Ironshield.

The truth is that http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32062 actually works BETTER Than these minus the strength, and it lasts for an hour, which works out to be an overall better increase. Plus the 10hp5 is a nice bonus, not necessarily a trade off for the 70 strength. But the strength loss can just as easily be made up by a battle elixer

Theres alot of other options than this, and the bonus is that these are elixers, and the potion can be stacked.

And as the above poster said http://www.wowhead.com/?item=22849 is more worth it in the long run due to the outrageous armor increase, and 2 minutes is alot longer than 15 seconds, so stack these with the elixers i stated above, and well, you've got yourself some nice buffs, my friend the tank.

These potions are still good to this day for tanks, Use it just before the pull so you have a little more hp and threat to help off the start.

Reason I say before is so you can get around the 1 potion per fight and fit in 2.
