For those horde who do not want to make this trip twice (its a pain to get though darn if you are not a stealth class). He has about a 20ish min respawn timer.

This is the only Common BOP Weapon exsisting as of patch 2.3, kinda funny. And yes, this is a lvl 1 twink weapon, but it is the same as Simple Dagger so either one could be used (Daggers ftw :D)

Really the best Wep. choice for a level one twink..
This goes great w/ firey, and is easily obtainable

Just go to the cave to the NW of dolonaar wher all the level 6 people are...
Just walk around and you'll find him :)

To summarise:

As stated above this is NOT the best weapon for a lvl1 twink rogue.
However it is the best weapon for wars/pallys (ppl that uses shealds to increase their survivability instead of extra dps).

If you want to farm this you should take a toon the the cave and leave him there just get on him every once in awile.
Try and do this on a toon you don't play on much.

Drop rate is incredibly low!

45 minute respawn rate for threggil that drops this sword.

in atleast 585 minutes i got 13 small pouches...

... still waiting for drop for my lvl 1 gnome rogue :D

Can anyone confirm that this still drops? I'm a little skeptical with the above comment, and I was told by Blizzard that they cannot give me any hints to drops. I only ask because I collect level one equipment and I'd like to confirm its availability. :)

This item amongst all of elwynn's/tirisfals/tedrassil starting zone mob specific loots is no longer avaliable

so find it off AH i guess....it might be quite hard since well, as above posters said it used to bind...
and i dont remember lvl 1 twinks being popular,unless the nerdy kids who spent 6-7 hours a day,had every single faction toon and class, got bored ,had nothing to do and jumped into the twink world

i made my twink to kill $hit and levelers ,not flex e-peens against other lvl 1s...

As of the date of this posting, I have killed him 1242 times. Using realm hopping tools to increase the number of spawns, I am starting to believe that the drop is simply non existent; even though loot tables still show it as a possible 1.1 drop rate. Based on the number of times I have killed him, probability shows a 99.99989 percent possibility for the Machete Pungente. These days I just like to kill him in revenge and absolute distaste for his existence.

Edit: 11/13/2015 - The kill/loot count I have is from a little add on I've had for some time. I just started using Wowhead not that long ago, and had not yet downloaded the client. I am now at 1356 and will download the client. I'm prolly just an unlucky individual who will only skew the results tho :)

Edit 11/16/2015 - So far I have gotten Spada da Pratica x2, Mazza Flangiata x2, and Archibugio a Pallini x2; Not including the unexpected Scimitarra Buona x1. But I still have not gotten the Machete Pungente. I am though, using the Wowhead Client now, so data will be uploaded form this point forward.
