anyone elts disturbed by the fact that a male dragon drops a bag of gems, and that a female dragon drops a sack also? you are castrating the dragons and demon, but how do you castrate a woman?

Got 2x Scarlet Ruby and the drake from this. Did the Emerald Void achievment all together with this.
From what I've heard the bag contains between 1 and 5(!) gems.

first run of Occulus this morning, was hoping for the drake to drop.

And it did! :o

The sack of gems CAN be traded. But.....

Be careful guys, if you have autoloot on and you right click your gem sack, once the mount pops out of the gem sack, you can't sell/trade it to your group mates.

So i just did this on my DK, and got 2 triumph badges, 1 Blue gem, and the Reins of the Blue Dragon. Same mount that can drop from Maly.

Dropped from azuregos for me and dropped 2 emblems and 1 wotlk blue gem ,but i dont have wotlk installed .Without knowing what will drop ,i sent the bag 2 my lowbie bank char and " ding " ,he gets achiv http://www.wowhead.com/?achievement=3838 =)

This container was first put into the game as a drop from the old Dragons of Nightmare, a group of outdoor raid encounters in classic WoW. IT contains a handfull of gems ( Classic WoW gems, like Jades, Star Rubies etc )

It was also, years later, used as the original container that players could obtain from completing the Occulus via the random option of the LFD.

the oculus lootbag has since been changed into Cache of the Ley Guardian, due to a slight oversight resulting in the blue sacks dropped from the Dragons of nightmare, also potentially having the Occulus blue drake inside :o

This item is NO LONGER OBTAINABLE IN THE OCCULUS
and no, if you get it from the dragons of nightmare in classic wow right now, it WILL NOT EVER CONTAIN THE OCCULUS MOUNT
