As Alliance, you can buy this from Malygen in the most northern camp in Felwood.
Not sure if this requires you to have done some quests.

For those of you trying to get to him to get the recipe "Monster Omelet", the recipe IS still available.

This vendor no longer exists but visit Himmik in Everlook, Winterspring who is in the inn there for the recipe.

Co-ords: 59.8, 51.5

This recipe for me was NOT variable from the cooking trainer. I had to fly to winterspring (the inn) to get it; sold by Himmik.

A good place to farm for the Uovo Gigante (giant eggs) is Tanaris from the Grifalco del Fuoco (Fire Rocs) they also have a 75%ish drop rate of Ala di Condor buzzard wings which make Ala di Condor alla Griglia buzzard wings between the 2 I had no problems leveling in no time

Work all 4 drop sites in tanaris, make the bbq wings till they turn green (or gray depending on how many you loot) then make the omlets which will still be orange)

Horde cannot purchase from Malygen and Himmik doesn't seem to be selling it either. And it does not seem to be learned by my trainer

EDIT: I was unfriendly with Everlook, there is a repeatable quest that can get you to neutral with them and then you can buy the recipe from Himmik

Horde need to buy from Himmik in Winterspring. /way Winterspring 59.83, 51.48
The Felwood area where the other vendor is located is unfriendly.
Another comment mentioned being Horde and unable to purchase from either, possibly due to a rep issue: My Horde character, who is Neutral with Everlook faction and at 130 Cooking, was able to purchase this recipe from Himmik just now. The recipe was red, but I clicked it anyway and it let me buy it (the red seems to just be to say you can't learn it until Cooking level 225, though it is purchasable).

If you are using Trade Skill Master interface and cannot find this recipe for sale by Himmik, switch to the WoW UI and you will be able to see it and buy it.
