This item is not consumed on use and un-grouped players can enter the portal which persists for a few minutes. I actually make a little event of using it a few times a day at the Hope's Landing flight point and drawing in players using the macros below to give them a chance to get the loot and kill credit for Commander of Argus without having to grind out the eyes.

Each of these is a separate macro.

To get the item links into macro you need to open the macro window and put your cursor in it. Then type/paste /script MacroFrameText:Insert("") into your chat and move your cursor between the ("") and shift click the item as normal and press Enter. The item link should appear in the macro. The /1 at the beginning causes it to automatically be posted in the General chat when you push the button on the complete macro. The macros are actually exactly at the character limit so if you have trouble linking in the items you may need to check or modify the wording to your liking

A good place to set the portal is right in front of an Invasion point portal. Stand back about 3 yards when doing it. You get lots of "volunteers" that way :)

Managed to farm (2500)Occhio Intatto di Demone in roughly 4 hours, worked really well with a group of 4-5 people, location was Distese degli Antoran at The Spirit Crucible which is north, way point:

The portal remains when you disconnect, that means you can set the portal and connect your alts to get to the boss.

I farmed the Occhio Intatto di Demone today with a group of 4-5 people for 4 hours total. We fought demons at the Pits of Punishment which is located at 62, 43, but if you don't have an addon for locations, it is the area above the cave that Orix l'Onnisciente is located in. I ended up with 3164 eyes, averaging 791 per hour at the end of it all which is more than enough to buy at least 1 of everything from him. We just kept clearing out everything non-stop. Hearing from other members, they averaged 675-750 per hour also. I recommend doing this in a full group for the best and fastest result...especially if you are going after all of the items he sells.

Farming Occhio Intatto di Demone will help you with your progress towards the achievements below since you are having to kill demons for their eyes.

THIS ITEM ONLY WORKS IN ANTORUS

I began to farm eyes as part of my Argus farm that I started in BFA. I had actually already gotten the toy from Rezira via darkmoon cannon/levitate pretty early on but I decided to buy this item anyway , after getting the pet and mind vision toy.

I had suspected as much but was still a bit disappointed, as you might guess, this item only works in antorus subzone. No extra teleport item for you.

I will still probably hold onto it until I finish farming everything out, as it is somewhat useful for a warp/leaping/glider point once already in Antorus proper.

I'm not sure when this changed, but I believe you used to have to be in party/raid with the person who cast the portal to use it.

Now anyone can take it if you click on it.

I was just farming eye's for the portal, went back to get disguise and some nice Alliance person had put the portal down. I took it. The person had the mini boss guy half way down was able to tag and get the cheev.

Bonus points to Blizzard devs if they intentionally made that change.
