If you're like me and forgot where the NPC is to recruit more of these, he's located in a cave (enterance @ 42.3, 63.5) by the "City Center" teleporter in Mac'Aree.

If you pay the order resources to the npc and wonder where are the troops you supposed to get, you received the Void-Purged Krokul item, you have to use it to add the troops to your followers.

Really don't like the way these work. The first one you buy in a week cost 150 Order Resources, which is fine. However any you buy after that costs 900, which is a lot.

These are pretty required for some missions and if you're playing Alts getting Order Resources is where you spent a lot of your time already. So another reason to have to grind them.

This is another alt unfriendly feature to a very alt unfriendly xpac.

This is hands down one of the stupidest things Blizzard has ever done. Every week I have to come here to look up where the damn cave is. Just move it to an obvious location. Whoever thought this would be fun for players is a moron.

Void-purged Krokul are added to your troops list with 2 lives! However, just in case no one has noticed, some of the missions utilizing this troop type will cost BOTH lives of the one(s) just newly added! Just so's ya knows!

Also just discovered that it can cost all the lives of Class Hall acquired troop types.

Krokul Espulso dal Vuoto recruited from Nabiru in Mac'Aree (he's in a cave 43.9, 60.9)

Abilities: Toccato dal Vuoto and Veterano di Argus

The other Argus troops are:

Calcacreste Krokul is recruited at Krokul Hovel in Krokunn (56.6, 67.5)

Abilities: Sopravvissuto Agguerrito and Veterano di Argus

Baluardo Forgialuce after a quest chain, recruited on board the Vindicaar

Abilities: Forgiato nella Luce and Veterano di Argus

for those like me, without coords, the entrance to the cave is NE part of ruins of oronaar right under the SW part of the round platform.

For visual directions, Nabiru, the vendor for Void-Purged Krokul, is immediately SouthWest from the Mac'Aree City Center point toward the Ruins of Oronaar. He's in a cave below the southern part of that round platform where the talbuk, Baruut the Bloodthirsty sometimes is.

Ontop of the very inconvenient and rather unecessarily secretive placement of the NPC who gives you these, Blizzard also deemed it a good idea to place two run-of-the-mill hostile mobs in the same cave, who have rather fast respawn timers. You know, just to shake some extra salt in the wounds after you comb Mac'Aree for hours looking for Nabiru.

For some reason I can't shake the feeling Blizzard is being very passive aggressive about Nabiru and obtaining his Void-Purged Krokul reinforcements...

I have done this at least 8 times and still get confused, so I wrote these directions to help me memorize the path, and hopefully it will help you too, especially if you have never been there.

Starting from the City Center MacAree Lightforged Beacon, face west and go down the first flight of stairs. The road bends towards the south west. Follow the road down the next flight of stairs. Continue south to the opposite side of the circular area where Baruut the Bloodthirsty is located until you reach the dilapidated stairs which spiral clockwise and into the Oronaar Collapse. Follow the downward spiral stairs which intersects a road. Follow that road heading down and to the west until you reach the path that intersects the road at 42.3 , 66.8. Follow that path down and to the north to reach the cave entrance at 42.4 , 63.3. Nabiru is in the back of this cave.

if you're like me and have 70k+ order resources and 800rep left on argussian reach, just do the 'more void inoculation' quest repeatedly (if you have it) until you hit exalted. I did it with about 14k resources left, so there's wiggle room. it's a nice way to get the last bit if you're out of world quests for the day. granted, you have to delete the void krokul every five stacks, but still.

This zone was renamed Eredath in 2021 so for anyone confused about where Mac'Aree is...it doesn't exist anymore.
