This is a teal, with gold accent version of the Ippogrifo di Smeraldo. This will be nice, as the Emerald version was a Recruit a Friend only mount. Ippogrifo Alanube is a low-drop from the 7.2 post-exalted (paragon) emissary chests, specifically from the Cassa di Farondis.

I have opened 13 Rep caches...No damn mounts...only gold, curious coins, resources...I am not doing this for that crap. Starting to get discouraged when I see people "supposedly" getting the mount the first time.

I did not grind rep for crap I can get in WQ's alone...this really needs to be fixed. Not fair for us grinding hard for mounts

Got it in my fifth Paragorn chest (through all factions, first with Court of Farondis).
All things considered, I guess I was lucky. And good to have a flying mount which I can actually use, unlike some of the other (though gorgeous) ground mounts. Gotta hand it to Blizz.. they keep finding ingenious ways to make us do the same world quests again and again and again.
All that's missing is a blue exclamation mark.

After you get exalted with Farondis reputation, you need to farm more 10k reputation through farondis world quests/tokens in order to receive a: Cassa di Farondis. In this chest there is a small chance to get the Ippogrifo Alanube.

Just like Farondis , all other legion reputations have this "special farm sistem" and each 10k reputation farmed you get a box with a small chance to get a mount/toy/pet - depending the box you open, its one special reward.

Dreamweaver reputation - Cassa dei Plasmasogni - small chance to receive this mount Calcasogni Selvaggio

May 13th 2017... looked up this mount here and seen that Wowhead had 228 reported with 140 actually being looted for a 61% drop rate...lol... http://www.wowhead.com/user=NaThuRe I think is closer with their estimate of a 5-10% chance.. personally I think its more like the .001% for most mounts off of end game raid final boss.

This is total crap. I've done over 10000 WQs across several characters since the paragon chests were implemented as of January 2nd OF LAST YEAR. I've opened well over 100 caches (I also did Court of Farondis table missions) without getting anything but trash. LET US BUY THE MOUNTS WITH CURIOUS COINS PLEASE!

And before anyone drops the "you got extra free stuff" line. No, I wouldn't be doing these WQs if there weren't Paragon Cache Mounts.

In the time honored tradition of complaining about the RNG and therefore causing the RNG to hit. I hereby complain about opening the Farondis Chest 101 times across 12 characters and still no Cloudwing Hippogryph.

That's 101 times minimum. That's only since my new laptop and reinstallation of the Rarity addon.

I FINALLY was awarded my Cloudwing hippogryph from the Court of Farondis (HOWEVER), it is not in my mount section nor does it show up even in the darkened section of mounts (it's) as if it doesn't exist. IF I hadn't have been looking forward to this mount and grinding out Court of Farondis to get this mount it wouldn't be a big deal, but now that I have been awarded this (I) def want it. It's really disappointing to see mounts that are behind abysmally low chests that you have to farm for 10k rep each time instead of just buying them outright with gold.

I honestly don't understand Blizzard's motivation behind this beyond they just want you to log in to grind rep for a mount.

I have so much gold and there is so little gold sinks in this game to spend your gold on beyond WoW tokens.

Why can't factions just sell us these nice flying mounts? It was done in previous expansions before...

I know it's probably beating a dead horse at this point (or a dead hippogryph, in this case), but I suspect that this particular mount has probably the lowest drop chance of any of the other paragon cache mounts.

I've opened up 80+ caches between two characters, and have had no such luck. Hell, I managed to get TWO Dreamweaver mounts in the time I'm writing this! That's how awful it is.

I get that Blizzard's trying to milk their customer base by putting rewards and such just beyond their reach as an incentive to keep going (like a carrot on a string), but at some point, there's gotta be a limit to what a person will put-up with before just throwing their arms in the air and just giving up.

I have been trying to get mine since it became available... Farondis just refuses to give me one... and the Highmountain taurens also are greedy with their moosen... with bfa around the corner, couldn't we just buy them already? I so sick of doing dalies for nothing.

Dear fellow rep/mount farmers.
In order for blizzard to improve our QOL we must help ourselves.
Please make an in-game suggestion to streamline Legion quests, just like in MOP.
Feel free to copy=paste this

If you are already exalted on 1 character in your battlenet account with a Legion faction, any subsequent gains on any character on your account should be made 100-200% more.

Currently on 145 attempts, i have been farming now since it got released, i'm at a point that i cant stop because so much time wasted on doing these stupid idiotic dailies. I have collected everything from BFA and this still won't drop.

Have been very lucky with these paragon boxes recently. I got the highmountain moose on my 4th attempt, the valarjar stormwing on my 3rd and this on my 2nd attempt, made easier with the recent impressive influence buff (September 2020). Maybe I'll fall out of favour with the rng gods and need 200 tries for the leywoven carpet... hope not though.

Mount is pretty on its own but imo does not fit many transmogs.

I'd wish they'd implement sth like: in every Paragonchest theres a currencytoken. You need 50 Tokens to buy the mount. Either you get the mount per RNG beforehand, or you just buy it after 50 tries.

I put this grind off for so long because it just seemed ridiculous. Today I received this mount in my second chest! This comment is for those who are too intimidated by the other comments to even consider trying (like I was originally). I know RNG isn't fair sometimes, I feel it with several mounts I've been farming for years. You can do the thing!

Finally dropped for me today on my 65th emissary chest! Wow that was a grind, 650k extra rep! Eep! But so worth it. It's always the one you wanted most that drops last right? :P Have faith for those still grinding. Your time will come.

33rd chest and still nothing. I have almost 200 Curious Coins. I have literally bough everything I could've wanted and needed from X'urios.

WHY CAN'T WE BUY THESE DAMN MOUNTS WITH CURIOUS COINS INSTEAD OF THE LAME TURTLE, BLIZZARD?
Make it cost 150 coins, so you have to farm the bloody boxes anyway, one way another, just give me ONE DAMN GUARANTEED WAY of acquiring the Paragon mounts...

I finished farming all the paragon mounts today. I started to play wow in very late Legion so I never opened one single paragon cache during the expansion. I started farming these mounts actively back in September 2020 using the double rep buff across two characters (One horde and one alliance). Cleaned every map every day and used all the rep tokens I could get from my class hall followers. These are my results on an small time line.

When I got other mounts, I had like 3-4 Coins missing for turtle. Now have 225 coins just from this Paragon chest. F**k you Blizzard and your RNG.

They've definitely increased the drop rate since I got both the hippogryph and the wild dreamrunner the same day. Was mentioned in the PTR notes but was a bit skeptical on how legit it was and now I'm not anymore. That's legion box mount collecting done for me!

They definitely increased the drop rate. Been using the rep tokens for legion paragon chests and been getting so many of the mounts in one shot. Very nice
