This Toy, coming in Legion, is a drop off of Fingegnere Omeganoid.

The flavour text states: "It's reversible. Perhaps Thermaplugg was working on a cure after all..." This is a reference to the radiation device Mekgeniere Termospin used in Gnomeregan, turning many gnomes into Leper Gnomes.

This Toy will have the same effect as Bacchetta della Veglia - Gnomo Contaminato from Hallow's End. One difference is that Fiala di Viscidume Verde can be used over and over again, whereas Bacchetta della Veglia - Gnomo Contaminato is limited to 5 Charges. Also, the wand can be used on other players, and the Toy is for self-transformation.

Also of note, in Legion there will be a new 300 Toy achievement - Ricorda di condividere. This will award the mount Estrattore di Legna Meccanizzato.

Lore

Mekgeniere Termospin is the last boss in the dungeon Gnomeregan. As per the lore, Thermaplugg was chief advisor to High Tinker Gelbin Mekkatorque at one time. Eventually, he would betray Mekkatorque and the Gnomish race. As part of a plan to rid Gnomeregan of the Troggs, Thermaplugg detonated a bomb that would irradiate the city (in the process sacrificing many gnomes that remained in the city, and turning those that survived into Leper Gnomes).

As it happens, Mekgeniere Termospin was caught in the blast himself, and the radiation turned him into a Leper Gnome and drove him mad. He now rules over the Leper Gnomes as self-proclaimed king of Gnomeregan.

Hearthstone

As an interesting sidenote, Mekgineer Thermaplugg is a Hearthstone card with the following ability:
Whenever an enemy minion dies, summon a Leper Gnome.

According to reddit and mmochampion, this item is a drop from that npc: Fingegnere Omeganoid/endgineer-omegaplugg

In order to active this hidden boss, all u have to do is:

Head to the last boss in Gnomeregan and kill him.
Go to the back of the pillar on the left side of the entrance as you enter the room and press the small button.
Endgineer Omegaplugg will spawn, with 207 Million health.
He drops the toy.

Everyone in group can loot the toy.

We just killed the boss Endgineer Omegaplugg in Gnomeregan. When the boss died we all got the Vial of Green Goo toy. We had several wipes due to the insane amount of bombs that just destroy you. We tried pushing the buttons in several ways to stop them from spawning or killing the bombs but we had no luck.

About 10 seconds into the fight he uses Static on a random group member, which is a DoT. Our monk (by chance) got the debuff and used Diffuse Magic, which reflected the Static back to the boss - killing him in 5 seconds.

So if you have a monk or another way to reflect the Static debuff to the boss you can easily kill him.

Have fun with your toy!

EDIT: This seems to be fixed and no longer works.

I can confirm

step 1: 5 ppl, 2 monk (me as a tank, one monk healer, but at least one monk)

step 2: the first 3 or 4 ppl, just die with bombs, so the boss will apply debuff on monk.

step 3: the boss cast, and the monk cast Diffuse magic and run! run! run! stay alive, run from bombs with every speed cd you have.

Blizzard should take out the toy to all people that got it when the boss was bugged before the fix.

It is not fair to all that cant get it now and they got it only because boss was bugged or glitched.

So my group started doing this at 3pm and I finally got it now at 7:30pm.
We tried so many things including all guides in the internet, especially the guide of Asmongold.
I personally think it doesn't depend if you are pressing the 6 red buttons or not, because we didn't touched the buttons I guess for 30 minutes and then suddenly at the last try (we wanted to stop there) he didn't spawned any bombs after 3 hours of waiting! We were only 4, because one left us, so we decided to get another druid.
So the boss was pretty hard, because we had only 860-870 Gearscore, so we decided to let our second druid heal too.
So we had 2x Restoration Druids 1x Hunter 1x Blood DK and 1x Shaman (me) and wiped on the boss because healed after reaching 50% HP on 100% back again with the spell "Maximal Repair", which is kickable! After a few wipes we decided to communicate with Skype to make a sequence/order of kick spells. The boss will cast his heal every 10-20 seconds.
I really recommend you to play a) with range DPS and b) with atleast 2 classes with short cd kick spell and c) with a communication service.

Best solution :
Two protection paladin.
Talents : Last Defender + Consecrated Hammer + Crusader's Judgment + Hand of the Protector
Step 1.
One paladin pull all enemy to Boss room and DO NOT kill anyone.

Step 2.
But you should kill Peacekeeper Security Suit and Arcane Nullifier X-21 because they will silince you.

Step 3.
Start fight and pull boss to here. i.imgur.com/QhjitW2.png

Step 4.
Use Judgment and Shield of the Righteous to attack. Use Hand of the Protector to heal yourself.

Step 5.
When Boss HP less 50%, Interrupts boss's heal with Rebuke. (Never Use Avenger's Shield)
You need two protection paladin because the cooldown of boss's heal is shorter than Rebuke.

Step 6.
Kill Boss.

I just killed this on February 18, 2017. We did a "legit" kill without using bugs to despawn the bombs or pulling the boss outside of the room. We used a monk to kite the bombs around the room. This strat requires a brewmaster monk and a mobile healer. Druid or Monk work perfect, a Shaman may work as well. You can see a video of the kill here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OzOykYgEWwM

The hardest part of this strat is setting up the kite. You start with the monk and healer standing near the closest pillar left of the entrance to the room. Have your other 3 party members standing way outside the room up the ramp. The monk pulls the boss and runs behind the pillar.The two of them start running around the outside of the room clockwise. The monk and healer want to stand as close together as they possibly can. The closer they are the better the bombs get clumped together. You want the bombs to be so stacked together that a single keg toss will get aggro on all of them. After a full run around the room all 40 bombs (the max the boss can have alive at once) should be clumped and the monk should have all the aggro. At this point you should have your other 3 party members run into the center of the room and your healer should join them. The monk continues to run around the outside of the room kiting bombs for the rest of the fight. Movement speed potions help a lot but are not essential.

When the three party members run in the 2nd tank needs to taunt Omegaplugg and hold him stationary. The tank can dodge the line attack and the semi circle attack. We had the tank stand still and soak the large circle aoe so the boss didn't move and the tank could be on the boss for interrupts. Every once in awhile Omegaplugg will cast a bunch of small orange circles that deal damage, try to avoid these as much as possible. Once the Omegaplugg drops below 50% he will start casting "Maximum Repair" It is essential that you interrupt this ability. If uninterrupted it will heal the boss to 100% hp. We used a Brewmaster Monk, Protection Paladin, Restoration Druid, Frost DK, and Assassination Rogue. I would advise using ranged dps instead of melee if possible because melee need to run away from boss to dodge the large circle aoe. We actually chose to have the melee stand in the aoe for more dps on the boss however we over gear this boss.(900 average ilvl)

Killed this on September 19, 2017, with a group consisting of: Protection Paladin, Holy Priest, Affliction Warlock, and two Balance Druids. We managed to (somehow) bug out the tubes so we only had bombs spawning from 2-3 of them, and we then funneled everything towards the entrance to the room, while the tank kept Fingegnere Omeganoid just in the middle of the doorway, facing away from the party. Our general strategy was to have the two Druids aoe as much as possible to kill the bombs and do splash damage on Fingegnere Omeganoid. Hope this helps!

Fingegnere Omeganoid is a level 110 hidden NPC in Gnomeregan which drops the Fiala di Viscidume Verde toy. Since Omegaplugg is level 110 NPC, you will need a party in order to kill him and stop the bombs from spawning.

How to get to Fingegnere Omeganoid

First make your way to Gnomeregan. If you're horde, you can easily get into Gnomeregan by taking the teleporter near Scotty in Northern Stranglethorn.
Once inside the instance get to Mekgeniere Termospin (the last boss in the instance) and kill it.
Behind the first pillar on the left you will find a small button "PUSH ME!" - Click this button and Fingegnere Omeganoid will spawn!

How to deactivate the bombs

Pull the boss and then quickly run out of the room to reset him.
Before the boss respawns you have to click all the 6 big red buttons going counter-clockwise starting from the first pillar on the right.
Reset the boss until bombs stop spawning.

Please note that you might have to reset the boss multiple times to completely stop all the bombs from spawning. It's not really consistent at the moment, but based on my personal experience, it usually takes two or three resets, so just reset Fingegnere Omeganoid until you don't see any more bombs spawn.

Boss abilities and strategy

Missili Totali - Fire all available missiles.
Stasi - Charges an enemy with static, inflicting massive damage every 3 sec. for 15 sec.
Riparazione Massima - Heals the caster to full health.
Elettroscossa XLA - Circle AOE attack - Radius: 30 yards
Elettroscossa XLC - 1/6 of a circle frontal AOE attack - Radius: 60 yards
Elettroscossa XLH - Half circle frontal AOE attack - Radius: 40 yards
Elettroscossa XLR - AOE in a line - Radius: 80 yards

Basically you will have to dodge a bunch of AOE abilities, dispel Stasi, and once the boss gets to 50% you will have to interrupt Riparazione Massima so make sure you have set up an interrupt rotation for that.(##RESPBREAK##)396##DELIM##Nightswifty##DELIM##

New way of defeating this boss:

You need someone have engineering and got this "EMP Generator" belt tinker attachment. Then let the guy have this attachment starts the boss using this belt first. This will cause the bomb to stop spawning and make this fight a lot easier.

Well he's certainly not level 110 anymore. So don't go waltzing in, full of hubris, thinking as a spanking new 120 that it'll be a cakewalk. The bugger one-shot me. lol

I'm 11 toys shy of the mount achieve. Guess I'll go seek out other toys for now and come back to this with some friends.

Did this today, we had 2 melee and 3 ranged, do not have more than 2 melee. He still hits really hard and the trick to stop the bombs from spawning still works.

This boss is NOT soloable as of 9.2. We had a group of 5 lvl 60s and we got our buts whupped. Probably will be easier if you have some ranged dps in the group.

I did this tonight in a group where everyone was geared to 440+ ilvl. We had 4 dps and 1 tank. Managed to down him in about 30sec (pulled at the 11 second mark, killed at the 36 second mark). Dunno if that's just cause we were well geared or if it's normal, but in the off chance it's a little undertuned, now might be the time to do it.
