Uovo di Murloc Strano has been added in Legion, and summons the pet Stramby. It will likely be a Blizzcon 2016 pet.

This pet is based on Squirky (a Level 1 NPC in Ironforge) that has been in-game since patch 4.1.0 (Cataclysm). He stands next to Grimnur Marcapietra, who grants the quest Pesca per Stramby - one of the Ironforge Fishing Dailies from Cataclysm.

Uovo di Murloc Pesante (Grugny)	Blizzcon 2009 Welcome Package. Also available to those who subscribed to the DirectTV online stream of the festivities. Still rarely available online or on eBay. Grants the Feat of Strength Marine marino.
Uovo di Murloc Infuocato (Morty)	Blizzcon 2010 Welcome Package. Also available to those who subscribed to the DirectTV online stream of the festivities. Still rarely available online or on eBay. Grants the Feat of Strength Morty.
Pietra dell'Anima di Diably (Diably)	Blizzcon 2011 Welcome Package. Available to attendees or Virtual Ticket holders. Still rarely available online or on eBay. Grants the Feat of Strength Diably.

If u look in ur pet journal and find it there.. it says : " Squirky. Pet Battle: The Great Sea.." so my guess is u can get this through pet battle, probably underwater or maybe on an island somewere out in the great sea, once legion launches.

There's an island called Seabreak Isle far off the western coast of Azsuna (19, 20) that's filled with a tribe of elite murlocs called Squigglefin. I haven't explored it myself yet, but Squirky and Squigglefin sounds related, and Squirky shares the pale yellow-ish colour of those murlocs as well.

Also, the information on Squirky states "During November, a secretive clan of murlocs often sends young tadpoles out to explore, adventure, and begin their tale." and that its location is "The Great Sea", both of which checks out for these Squigglefin murlocs.

Squirky might just end up being a Blizzcon pet you don't have to do anything to acquire, but it could also be some special hidden/world quest only available this November that sends you to this island.

Here's why i don't think this will be a Blizzcon pet - out of all BoA Murloc egg pets, only one had come from Blizzcon - the 2005 Blue Murloc Egg. The rest were from one-time promotions or hidden in game(Terky). Unlike all the other murloc pets the source is listed as Pet Battle: The Great Sea. Not redemption as with blizzcon murlocs or Drop as with Terky. I believe this pet might actually already be in game.

Not sure when they changed it. But the text now says - "During a special time of year, a secretive clan of murlocs often sends young tadpoles out to explore, adventure, and begin their tale." Which is changed from "during November", and on the gear store, as part of the new stuff added for Blizzcon 2016, the book - World of Warcraft: Traveler, is now for sale. The book's release being what many of us had thought this pet was tied to, and may still be. As the Blizzcon sale is only open to Blizzcon ticket or virtual ticket holders, till after the convention is over. Now, I just circled the island off the east coast of Azsuna, which we were assuming the pet would be found, nothing as of yet. I also circled it underwater as well. I'm looking forward to getting this lil guy! ❤

It might need some "attuning" in order to get to. Just like Kosumoth the Hungerer, and the Long-Forgotten Hyppogryph both had pretty interesting acquisitions. I'm wondering if this does too. Possibly related to the Murky quests/achievements, maybe defeating the Captive from Stern-Fathom's pet Journal in a Family Familiar style. Either Bliz hasn't unlocked this activity yet, or we're missing something.

I THINK I have an idea of where this may be, but needs testing. There's an island in the north east of Aszuna that is crawling with murlocs. Maybe it's there? If not just say so, no need to go downvote heavy lol.

the WOW's 12th Anniversary beging the 16 november and will be active until 30 november , not sure ofc but it might be the "special time of the year" :)

Apparently we're indeed supposed to take a trip to Seabreak Isle, but to capture the pet in the wild just as the pet journal suggests:

There is a spawn of several capturable Squirkies around the place, the pet seems to have a fixed 1441/268/292 breed. The adult Squigglefins definitely aren't happy, so the usual caution is recommended.

I have no idea why this item is still linkable in-game, but apparently we no longer need to bother with looking for egg-looking objects.

Stramby is actually located in a small island just south-west from Chalianne's Terrace in Azsuna:

At least right now, they're a capturable pet and not rewarded by an item. The respawn rate of these pets are very fast, however they're unkillable outside combat (which is usually not true for other wandering pets). So, if you're looking for a rare and you want them to die just so another can spawn, I suggest using a Cucciolo Spettrale di Lupo Bianco with Morso Spettrale. This will one-shot every low and common quality Squirky you find. After you kill it, just forfeit the battle and Squirky will despawn.

I do not suggest however that you farm for a rare. Unless you're very lucky, it seems that the rare version is actually rare. Murlocs have a lot of HP and spawn constantly, which you'll have to deal in order to combat the pets in the island. I suggest that you just capture any Squirky, since they only have one breed and use a Pietra Evolutiva Rara Notevole (you can buy one from most battle-pet vendors for x15 Talismano delle Mascotte Scintillante or even as WQ rewards) or even a Pietra Evolutiva Rara Umanoide. Save yourself some trouble and time.
