The invitation itself starts the quest, Un "Nobile" evento.

There is a chance you can find this in the rewards chest for training the withered nightfallen scenario in Suramar.

It starts the quest, Un "Nobile" evento which requires you to complete several days of order hall missions in order to receive the quest, Volpin, l'inafferrabile.

After saving Volpin from a band of Nightborne hunters you are rewarded with Redini del Predatore di Llothien (one of the best looking mounts in legion IMHO)

I received this item from the withered training scenario!

It's not that difficult to complete after you get it you have to send your followers in your Class Order Hall on missions that are 12 hours each (There's 4 of them, 1 will show up right after you complete the previous one) after that you do a short Suramar quest and there she is!

A friend of mine got this from a withered training scenario earlier today, then I did it and got it. We both got it from the large 10-soldier chests in the scenario. Granted this is just another anecdotal report, and I'm sure we were lucky, but this doesn't seem like the sort of extremely rare drop that will frustrate mount-collectors for years.

Update: two weeks later, I got this on an alt as well, from a mission reward. I don't recall any details of the mission; I tend to loot my successful missions quickly, and by the time I noticed the reward, the mission was gone.

I got my torn invitation today from my Nightfallen Hoard chest in Suramar - First time I had done World Quests in the zone for Nightfallen. Invitation dropped out of it. Currently working on the missions via class hall to get to Volpin the Elusive.

This is NOT a guaranteed drop! A friend of mine did the same missions, just after me and only got gold out of his Hoard chest.

You can get from them:

about 50% for 50 AP item
and about 1% for uncommon champion equip
and of course some grey crap

Since these seem to drop mostly out of Nightfallen world quest caches, does anyone know if there's a set rotation on the emissary quests, sort of like what was done with profession traders in WoD Garrisons? If no one knows the rotation yet, I think I'm going to start taking note of which rep pops up, so I know what day to look forward to, in hopes of getting started on the quests that give this mount :/...

Just had this drop. I opened a Wardens and a Nightborne hoard, though I'm not 100% sure which it came from. Gathering from the comments I'm guessing it would have came from the Nightborne one.

When I do the scenario, I always lose my withered and end up with the basic chest at the end. not sure if it can come from them. I;m a tank, theres no way i can complete the scenario and get a 5 or 10 withered chest....i've opened two nightfallen hoards so far and nothing.....u can only get the hoard once a week which sucks so it takes forever.i wish that quest popped more on the WQs

Im 99% sure I got this from a Class Hall mission and all it did was give me quest to go into Arcway or Court of Stars, cant remember which one and kill some boss and hand in the quest for a piece of gear, I know I've had it at least once because I have already searched before today. Sad times :(

So, I've looted all 10 and 5 withered chests from the scenario, full cleared it all but twice and had 3 or 4 emissary chests and I'm still waiting. Thinking about sacrificing my mother for some better loot luck...

Thinking about starting levelling my alts just for this damn mount as I'm yet to start any of them.

That would probably speed up the Invincible runs too.. god that's getting boring.

Got the item from the cache, did the missions, got my mount. Two weeks later I got another invite on an alt. Does anyone know if I can do the missions and then let someone else in my group do the last part, calming the fox, to get the mount?

Might be worth mentioning that a person in my guild claims he got this item dropped from a random mob in Suramar while doing a world quest. He doesn't remember what exact mob but was definately not from an emmirsary cache or the scenario.

Of course he might be mistaken but with this content so new, so few comments on here and most people who get it probably never even going on here to type about it it doesn't seem impossible that there are other sources for this item we don't know about.

Does anyone have a confirmation that this can be looted from the FINAL withered chest, that you get guaranteed at the end of the scenario? I've fully cleared that place out on 4 toons now (all 5 and 10 withered treasure chests), and only have the last one at the end of the instance. I cleared the 4th and final toon's instance two weeks ago, and have been doing the training on 4 characters every 3 days still, and have yet to see this item... I'd rather not keep spending time in there if there isn't a chance at the mount in the final chest :(

Exalted with the Nightfallen, have been doing the scenario and the WQ since it was made available to me, and still no invitation drop.

Meanwhile, several of my friends have gotten the invitation and gone 'what's this?'.

Come on blizz, at least up the drop chance each time you get a chest or something.

So apparently this can be received from Emissary Caches ( I assume normal ways too ) even after you already have the fox mount. Got the mount week 2 of legion, and now just got the Torn Invitation today on an alt.

I can confirm this dropping from the final chest of the withered army scenario. Just got it today on my DH alt, my score was over 600, I rarely full clear the place, but i was getting all of the army power ups. Not sure if the score is relevant, but it definitely can drop from them.

Also confirming that you can get this in the Withered Army Training scenario. After weeks of doing this scenario and so desperately after the fox the Torn invitation finally dropped for me today!

I noticed the large chests would drop less and less in the scenario and today I didn't get a single one despite clearing out the whole scenario with a score of 700+. But the one chest you do get at the end of the scenario is where the torn invitation dropped for me.

Good luck to those who are still trying to get it! It drops eventually, I promise you!

Is there a way to see if your character received this item but somehow you no longer have it (like, deleted it by mistake). Not saying I did, but this item looks very familiar and I dont have the questline for the mount as of now (and I dont think I did).

I can confirm that you can get this invitation with low reputation (friendly in my case on an alt) and instantly turning in the withered army, no score.
It's just RNG apparently

I have been doing Withered Training for the toys, and the Arcane Tablets of Falanaar for the rep. I also been running it for Lightning Burst, I would always just get to 450 for the large chest and then stop, today i kept going and going score was over 650 and it dropped. Not sure if score has anything to do with it but i have ran it on 3 toons every time it pops up.This is the ONLY time i scored more than 500 doing it and it drops. Can anyone confirm that score has something to do with it?

If anyone is curious, you can get the torn invitation which starts the quest chain more than once. I got the fox mount already about a month ago from a nightfallen emissary cache and I just got the torn invitation again today on an alt from the same emissary cache.

Just to let everyone know that you don't have to do the scenario to get this. I got one from the chest for doing the four world quests in the suramar zone. I rarely do the training scenario its too boring.

This invitation is a per character flag, but the reward (the mount) is account bound. I got my 2nd invitation on an alt from a cache, months after I got the fox on my main. GM Bakzthor has confirmed doing it the 2nd time around will offer no additional rewards and recommends to just delete any future invitations.

I've been doing the Nightfallen WQ's and the horrid Withered training for months but still no drop. Is it possible I looted it from a Glimmering chest got killed before looting the whole thing (yes that happend, I know right)? If that's the case, should I start on another char?

I was just gifted the Torn Invitation 25 min ago from Withered Army Training and wanted to contribute with some information. Not actual facts, but more in the line of my experience that you might take into consideration if you too are farming for it and have yet to be blessed by the divine random number entity.

I was already knee deep in Broken Isles Pathfinder, Part One when I learned about the Reins of the Llothien Prowler and seeing I had two chances at geting it, I was pretty stoked. Little did I know how much I would come to genuinely hate this options (In case you are wondering, the other option is the Nightfallen Hoard)

As soon as my army was fully upgraded, I started to clear the scenario with +700 points. So here is what I did, just from on top of my head.

1. Ran Withered Army Training with +700 points 90% of the time for at least 3 months. Why only 90%? Well......
2. I read on reddit among many other forums that 425 points will grant you the "biggest" chest when the scenario ends which means maximum AP token, maximum shot at getting the toys and Spark of the Fallen-Exarch. And of course the fabled Torn Invitation. It's true for atleast the Falanaar Orb. If you complete scenario at 424, you don't get maximum artifact power. So I began to end the training prematurely at 425 points.
3. I did it a couple of times, then I got cold feet and began to complete the scenario with +700 points once again, just to be sure.

I've read on so many forums that people believe that points have nothing to do with the droprate. That people have looted it at sub 100 points. Many even claim to have gotten the Torn Invitation just by dropping 400 mana to start the scenario only to cancel at Thalyssra immediately after you entered.

If you ask me, I actually think that these people are right. I honestly believe that you have a shot at the Torn Invitation regardless of your points. That you won't increase your chances by spending ~45 min killing spiders and elementals in an instance that quickly becomes tedious.

Forget about the "+700 points 2-3 times in a row" drop-myth. If it was true, I would have enough foxes to make everyone in Shal'Aran a furcoat.

I've been clearing the entire place ever since the beginning. Literally not a single mob was left alive. Today i decided to alter that a bit, so i skipped the large circular hall with the pool (where Leystalker Dro resides) so i ended up with 574 points. Its the only time (except of back in november when i had no bonuses for my withered) i end up so low on points. To my surprise the invitation dropped.

I finally got the "Torn Invitation" this evening from doing the four world quest. It was in the Emissary Chest when I completed the four quest and did the turn in. I see others riding it and had given up on ever getting it. Very thankful that RNG was favorable today.

Finally got my Torn Invitation today from the main Withered Army Training chest.

Had actually stopped doing the training around 3 months ago, as I was sick of running it just for the mount, with the invitation continually not dropping. Just happened to have some time to kill, with 2000 ancient mana lying around, so decided to go in.

For the run, I used all 2000 ancient mana for 20x withered troops. Did a full clear (+700 points) in about 25 minutes, which was faster than my normal time.

Not sure if taking a 3 month break or doing a faster run helped my chances, but if nothing else, it shows that it's always worth going back for another crack at it. The rng gods may just smile upon you!

Traded in 600 ancient mana for the run. My last withered unfortunately got killed by the Dro and the game ended as my gear ilvl was only 859. Final score was 412. Was surprised that the "Torn Invitation" dropped together with the "The Conveniences of Home" on my 1 week old alt. I was prepared for the long haul farming up reputations on 2 characters to exalted with the Nightfallen for 3 months now. Am done with this finally.

May good luck shines on those who hasn't got it yet. RNG do sucks bad in this game currently.

Go this (finally!) from the chest at the end of the withered army training scenario. Nightfallen was NOT one of the Emissary quests for the day (there was only a day left on the withered training quest, so figured I'd give it a shot and at least get some more Nightfallen rep). Got to 413 points and finished the scenario by running off and "leaving my withered behind". Low and behold, the Torn Invitation finally showed up in the end chest!

I am wondering if droprates can bug out. i.e.: if you have autoloot turned on, bag error happens game thinks you have the item, but you don't. Though someone told me that the invitation can drop multiple times. can someone confirm?
Also, has anyone ever seen it as a follower quest? or is it only from caches and WA tr?

Well, miracles finally do happen. Every single week since launch, my friend has been doing Nightfallen emissary and Withered Army training without fail. Every single time. I got the torn invitation back in January. He never got his. Until today. 10 months later. It's kind of like a let down but finally, finally to see it there he said was like wow, finally. About $%^&ing time. RNG is a !@#$% sometimes. He jokes, but it's really sometimes not a joke, the game hates him for some things. He's gotten mounts yes but few of the toys that drop in Legion. I got the Wisdom ball a few months ago, he's still waiting. We're both still waiting for the Warden's toy but he's said I've gotten it secretly and just aren't telling him haha.

But seriously, if you haven't gotten it after 10 months of trying every single time, have some hope. Miracles do happen. Finally.

I can CONFIRM you DO NOT need to do well on this training mission. I just said screw it and queued up with the 400 Ancient Mana and let them make a mess til they died, only had a score of 81 i believe and received the Torn Invitation. I cannot say if doing well increases the chances, but it CAN still drop with crap score. GL and happy hunting

The key to getting this item (quickly) seems to be......having no idea what it's for.

I mean, really. The people I know who got one soon after it appeared in game had no idea what it was and were pleasantly surprised to get a mount. Myself and most of the others commenting here who know what it is have been diligently farming it for months to no avail......

Received this on my second run. Most people said performance doesn't matter so I basically just run in, grab chests and make a mess till they're dead. Got up to elfbreaker on my second run with only 3 withered and like 400 points - just fought till we died and got it in reward cache.

Also got the Kaldorei Light Globe toy in the same drop so that's was cool.

Just looted the invitation on my mage.
- It was the second time I did the scenario
- I've started with just 400 mana
- Left the Scenario on purpose with 115 points (set withered in combat mode and run away)
- Mage is exalted with nightfallen (for the record)

Previous runs with my prot-warrior/tankadin that cleared the whole place a lot of times with >500 points were not successful.

Heads up! Just go in and kill some stuff for the chest at the end.

Finally. I've been doing this nonsense since it first came out and JUST got it today after deciding enough was enough and unlocking everything on yet another alt. As for some info I was Honored with the Nightfallen and I got it on my first run through withered training, not even the world quest, the actual quest you get to run it to unlock the world quest. I also got two five withered mini chests along with it, but the invite came from the big one. My score was around 400. Good luck, don't give up.

Seems you can obtain this from the Nightfallen Cache (The Repeatable 10k Rep at Exalted one).
It was a nice surprise - I have been bery unlucky with this mount!

I would like to confirm. I'm currently Revered 17k to Nightfallen.
Ran my daily 400 mana and received the torn invitation for the "noble event" and also "The Conveniences of Home" quest.

Also I noticed weird from the other runs, I was able to get around 5 mini chest, I captured 2 withered chests of 5. Then I just returned of my own (leaving them behind) around 410 count.

I doubt this is really representative of anything, but I've gotten this out of the emissary cache once on my death knight and once on my paladin, and I got it another time on my death knight in the withered army training.Still haven't figured out what to do about the extras. Accidentally or intentionally abandoning the quest does not remove it from your mission table.

I have ran the scenario since it has been available. I don't do it EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. But I do about 80%+. I have ALWAYS completed with 500+ score. Also I do my emissary cache EVERY TIME it is up 100%. I have not seen the Torn Note drop a single time. I also run this on my DH and Warrior. SO, yeah, rare is rare and low is low.

I got this after farming Withered Training 68 times forever for the Monk Hidden Artifact Appearance. On my DK alt, I just got the Torn Invitation from a Emissary Chest for turning in 4 WQs. So this doesn't necessarily drop out of withered training although that might be the most accessible way to farm rewards from the Nightfallen.

So i finally got it from the Cache after trying to get it since nighthold (scenario every time its up on 13 chars including emissary) and alot of people says it can come from the Order Hall table, i was wondering if theres any criteria for that, since ive never seen that before, nor have i seen any pictures of it. This is not a brag, but is being said for the purpose of complete information on the drop rate of this item.

I got this and the paragon mount from the paragon cache yesterday. I say this just in case someone may be worried that one would overwrite the other, as it sometimes happens with other items like this.

After one year of farming on two level 110 characters and one at level 120, doing Withered Army Training almost daily with various scores, emissary chests and paragon reputation boxes I finally got it from Cassa degli Esuli Oscuri.

If you haven't gotten this beauty during Legion, there's still a chance to get it now. Good luck and never lose hope! :)

Got it from my 4th Withered Army Training with 457 score. As I see these comments, I feel sorry for people farming it the whole time.

Once you got this item, be ready for annoying follower missions with a long duration. And you have to do them one by one, which really sucks...

I finally got the Torn invitation today 12/15/18 In patch 8.1.0. The source of the invitation was from completing the withered training scenario with a final score of 452. Making it to the end, and speaking with Occuleth. Best of luck to those still trying to farm this one!

I’ve been farming for it since i started BFA, I did withered training over 100 times and still haven’t got it, this made me get my reputation all the way to revered, still no luck

I've MASTERED withered training back in 7.1.5 and never can get the damn invitation. I took a break and planned to come back in 7.2 but never did. I just got back to WoW 12/25/2018, and today 1/13/19 was the first time I did the training again as 115. I forgot about the fox until I saw it and was like OHHH YEAAA. So, I just went in with 8 withered for 400 mana because at 115 I didn't feel I needed to start with more let alone cap of 2000 which I was right. I ended up completing it with definitely over 25 withered. It was a cake walk. I killed every single thing in there. However, still no invitation. Now, I have NO IDEA about ANYTHING 7.2+ pre BFA so I have no idea if there are any new ways to get caches that have this thing in it. I read something about the Paragon cache but that is 7.2 so I guess I'll head to dalaran and start 7.2 content even though I should be leveling which I put off for like almost a week now cus I've been fishing for the sea ray mount which I haven't caught either.

I can only offer my own experience as there are still a lot of unknowns about this mount. Today I decided to clear to at least a score of 400 (which spawns the large chest at the end) and the invitation dropped. Rarity says that this was my 5th attempt. But prior to this, I had spent months going in, clearing the very first room and leaving as I was unsure if the score mattered or not. So it might only drop with a score above 400.

I still don't know if the score matters or not, but Rarity seems to think so, and a score above 400 is how I got my invitation. I also only spend 400 ancient mana.

Will drop from the emissary cache on a boosted character that never even set foot in the Legion class hall. I did the quests to get Shal'Aran and that's it.

Moderately annoying but at least I finally have it.

Dropped from the withered army training chest with a score of 302, I farmed up to the "Dro" guy, looted the key and then left.

Farmed on 7 characters over ~10 months, doing withered army training every ~3 days on each, and world quests for the nightborne cache whenever it was available. Most of the characters were exalted & earning paragon caches.

If you reach exalted and then faction change, it increases your ancient mana cap to 2000 and completes the quest chain so you don't need to feed 50 mana each time to initiate the withered army training. I did easily >150 quick runs with scores between 0-5 (just set them on mayhem and ran away to end it), some people claim the score isn't important but it was in my case. The chest appears to have a higher chance to drop the invitation when the score is over 200 or 300.

If I had to do it again I'd just casually grind to 300 and end the training, every 3 days on 1 or 2 characters. You can increase the ancient mana cap to 900 by looting the vial(?) outside the building where you find Theryn, that's enough for 2 runs until you hit exalted at which point you could faction change if desired, which increases the cap to 2000 making things even more casual. I wouldn't bother doing the world quests after hitting exalted, they're good for rep though.

Been farming doing Nightfallen daily emissaries about 80% of the time on 1-2 characters since the start of Legion expansion. Been doing withered army training whenever its up and emissary every time its up on 1 character for the past 2 years. Today it finally dropped from a paragon cache. To help get more rep I made sure to do all the order hall follower quests I can that had a chance to reward nightfallen rep or a chance for nightfallen rep via the bonus loot that rolls a random reputation boost. Eventually dropped even though I thought I was marked forever unworthy.

Got mine earlier after completing the withered training. I've been trying the leave straight away method others have mentioned to no avail.
So tonight, because I was bored I decided to complete the whole thing without letting a withered die or run off. Just to get a huge chest at the end,
and it dropped the Invito Stropicciato as well as Doccia Arcana and the regular rep tablets. So finally after 3 years I will have my Redini del Predatore di Llothien to ride into battle. Good luck to all still after the Invito Stropicciato

Ok it's 2020, After 4 years of failure, I finally got it, in a matter of weeks just by trying something 'different'. And for future Foxy mount riders, here is my guide to:
'how to get this mount without spending a year in fail attempts', As SaltLB said in 2016: "The invitation can appear from multiple sources, including"

- Nightborne Caches
- Class Order Hall Missions
- Withered Army Training Scenario
- And as we know, The invitation starts a quest chain that will net you a Llothien Prowler (Foxy mount)

BUT, the problem is, RNG. Our invitation is a rare drop and the logical thing to think is "roll as much as caches, withered scenarios, hall missions, as possible, and eventually you will get it", but it's random, You might just not get it for a long time trying, like me. So after reading all the comments in this session and discussing this with some friends and my wife that get it in the first few months after the release, I got my conclusion:

- Nightborne Cache > Very small chance to drop
- Class Order Hall Missions > Very Small chance to drop
- Withered Army Scenario (Start and finish right away) > Very, very small, years waiting, chance to drop it
- Withered Army Scenario (Playing, in a straight path, until you reach the end) > Best way to drop it

My theory, as mentioned by other users here, is that the bigger chest at the end of the withered scenario (the one that rolls a fair amount of loot) rolls the chance to drop our torn invitation some times more than other sourcers. So yeah, the big chest is your best chance to drop it.

So my advise to you, Future fox owner, is:
1- Unlock withered scenario with some max level alts (2 or 3 at most. 4+ is too much of gameplay time to spend in a old content RNG) .
2- Every time the world quest gets avaible, you go there, get that 450 mana in suramar, speak to thalyssra in the cave and play it until the very end.
3- You don't need to mind scenario points or side rooms, you just need a good number of withereds to defeat the last boss
4- You can't rush it, or your withered will die, so you have to kill all enemies in your way, but you can do it in a straight path
5- Everytime thalyssra suddenly speaks with you it means that you are facing a elite that can hurt your withereds, kill the bastard as fast as you can
6- Let your withered facing the final spider boss butt, otherwise that web can kill a bunch of them

Last, and most important, never start the scenario and finish right away. This is a way to lose a good roll (and some good years). Don't lose focus, don't lose faith, do the scenario as much as you can, from head to toe, and soon you will get your invitation. You can do this !

Tonight ALONE! On 3 toons, I did 3 sets of Withered Army Training and got the score over 400 each time, I earned a rep Paragon Hoarde (cache) for Nightfallen, AND I got 2 emissary caches for Nightfallen by doing WQ's. Zero.... Zero Torn Invitations.... And I checked all 3 toon's class halls for mission to show up for Torn Invitation.

I got the Leywoven Carpet from a Nightfallen Cache on first try. But no fox mount :(

As a Nightborne I only needed to talk with Thalyssra and do the quest to open the world quest and got it in my second attempt, the first try as WQ. Got the item in the bigger treasure chest in the end of the scenario. In this run I only got one "10 withered chest" and one "5 withered chest". I was in an alt that only has two followers in class hall... I've been trying with my main for years and nothing. At least I can happily level my Vulpera now.

I had around 280 score and at the end of the scenario I opened the big chest.
Edit: I started the event with 10 withered (400 ancient mana)

They should make this a guaranteed drop when you've gotten all the Withered Army Training chest toys as well as the Leywoven Flying Carpet. Farming this at its current rarity % will make any player insane in the membrane.

Can Confirm this still drops from Withered Army Training in 9.0.1 It doesn't seem to be affected by score I was taking a pretty direct route not clearing any side rooms or extra bosses and I got the drop from the end chest.

Got it today from a Nightfallen Hoard. I was doing the emissary with various character to get reputation to do Balance of Power with the different classes and when I opened the hoard with my DK I got the item.

Just got this from Withered Training completion chest. I cleared nearly the whole place, final score was 664. In the weeks leading up to today, I was able to acquire all the toys from there as well, also aiming to clear as much of Falanaar as possible. So I guess I can finally say goodbye to Withered Training after many long years.

I started out by running WAT all the way to the end, thinking I had to get a high score to have a chance for the invitation to drop.
Then I read that you can get the invitation even if you only killed one mob before calling it a day, so I did that for a few months.
Then I read that your odds are better if you get a 600 score, so I went back to doing it that way for a while.
Today, I finished with a score of 701 and 42(!) withered, and collected the last of the available toys from the chest at the end - and also the invitation.
I still know nothing about what's required to get the invitation, or what can actually improve your chances, but I no longer care because I can't think of any reason to ever do that scenario again.

FINALLY GOT IT OMG. It only took.... until now. Got it from withered training with the minimum number of withered. Did it every day for months during Legion, usually getting 200-450 scores before quitting, then gave up and started doing it every weekend. Over the past year I've just been doing it when I remember to, something like three or four times per month. I have run the scenario literally hundreds of times. Of course, the husband who doesn't even play anymore got it to drop his first week of playing with a boosted character back when Legion was current content. It was literally his first special mount. But finally, my hunter can have a whole fox-themed group of critters... two+ years late ahaha.

I got it to drop with a 570something score and at one point 20 withered, but once I hit 400 points by just murdering everything little I come across and all the mini-bosses, I let my 20something withered go and ran off to leave them behind and force the scenario to end. I got the extra 170ish points just while running away and eventually they all got lost so I ended with 0 withered. I already had all the toys but was NOT exalted and didn't even have the storyline completed on this character.

Finally. My hell of withered scenarios is over. Now I have to wait days for the order hall missions to be complete.

Just wanted to confirm in pre-patch that you can get this with minimal effort. I entered the scenario with the minimum withered, and sprinted ahead only killing a couple mobs until I outranged by withered. Had a score of ~50 and opened a tiny chest to finally receive the Torn Invitation.

Just got it after running withered army training for a couple of times - probably 10 times or so. Must have run it more often while the content was still up-to-date though.

I just run as quickly as I could to the end of the training to get the chest. No regard for numbers of withered (always started with lowest amount because I didn't want to spend time farming), no opening any chests on the way, etc. Ended with 10 withered and 100-200 things or so every time. Just get to that final chest as quickly as possible. Don't waste your time. Unless you want the other things in the specific chests.

First Withered Training ever, on a lvl 50 that never did Legion content before. Did lots of emmisaries on other chars before, but this one dropped it.

Dropped from "Building an Army" quest, in the final chest in the middle. No Ancient Mana spent on withered.
Used 15 withered on chests, and the last few died before reaching the spider mom boss. I got booted out of the scenario when they died, but the invite dropped anyway.

It's pure RNG. Sorry to everyone who's spend years on this.

Funnily enough, i cant even get the mount now because my order hall followers are too low lvl to complete the quest... 🤣

Does anybody know why don't I have any chests in there? It's really annoying...I end the round with 60 withered because there is no chests that I can send back with them. And not just today, but also last week. Is there something I have to do before I enter? Help! :(

After reading all the guides in regards to obtaining the Torn Invitation, I was fully prepared to embark on this arduous journey to obtain the amazing mount, knowing it'd likely take months.

So colour me surprised when literally the first Withered Training Chest I opened dropped the the item!

Is it possible they have increased the drop rate recently?

Not sure if the game is trolling or what is going on, I did this daily for months during Legion, I just ran it for the first time in years and got it first try. 10 withered for 400 mana (had to farm it) ran to the final room with around 25 withered, it was not a 100% clear but I did kill several mobs.

After a year of farming Withered Army Training scenarios, the torn invitation dropped from a regular Nightfallen Cache. I now have a mount for all my new Vulpera characters.

Finally got this to drop today from the four world quests reward. Rarity has been bugged for me for a while now because it said first attempt but I know for a fact I've been trying for this for a couple of months every time I see the Nightfallen Hoard up for grabs from questing in Suramar. Luckily doing it all at max level made it very speedy each time. Hopefully in a few more days I'll finally have this gorgeous mount. :)

Might not be super relevant to most people but for those like me who kept doing the withered training over and over for years with no luck, it finally dropped for me from a *paragon box* instead, my 14th paragon box to be precise. The main reason I'm commenting this is just because it seems really unclear and even more so rare to get this item from any of the known sources, so I'm confirming that it does indeed drop from paragon boxes, and from doing dozens of withered training with 0-400+ points I never got it to drop from there, or the Nightfallen emissary box.

As of patch 9.2.5, item is still obtainable. Received mine via 4 world quest -> Nightfallen Hoard cache. On an alt whom hasn't unlocked Suramar fully.

Prior to this, I have been farming the item on and off on my main who has everything unlocked, did withered training, dailies, paragon caches, checking mission tables and got nothing for months.

I received this item as a drop when doing the Withered Army Training scenario on my Evoker and CANNOT use it. I get an error messaging stating "You don't meet the requirements for that quest". I contacted support regarding this and as Evokers don't have access to the Mission Table in Legion content they are currently unable to complete this quest chain and get the mount.

I've also filed a bug report regarding this and if anyone else has the same issue as above, please do so as well.

I have been farming this on and off since Legion on several characters by completing the Withered Army Training quest straight away with 0 points, I didn't even bother doing the Nightfallen Hoard quests, but recently I started doing those and I also started clearing out the entire army training out scenario, and today it finally dropped for me after killing everything and getting around 530 points. Just giving an update for current time. Timewalking event for November 2023. Just finally got around to doing this. I have done the Withered Army Training approximatelly 8 times, and the Cassa degli Esuli Oscuri approximately 15-16 times, and just recieved Invito Stropicciato on the last Cassa degli Esuli Oscuri . Now on to the next step. Hard to believe bliz still has these timegated to 12 hours.

I just had a nightmare that this quest item might not drop if you don't have the mission table unlocked. I ran this today on 13 toons, very few of them have their mission table unlocked (I'm lazy), and I had no drops. So now I'm going to unlock a bunch of mission tables and try again.

I have farmed this on my main since legion(withered training+paragon boxes), at some point only on and off since it seemed like it didn't exist, and have never gotten it previously.

Then I started the withered training scenario on my monk to get the hidden artifact weapon, got the appearance after like 4 tries and on the fifth(had some leftover mana and was like why not) and got it on the fifth. Sheer dumb luck or not, I'm happy it's over!

For reference, on my alt I didn't max out the withered upgrades(still had a few chests requiring 10 withered), I used 400 mana to start it, and I had a total of 487 points at the end without opening any additional doors requiring 10 withered. Also Honored with the Nightfallen, if that's of any use.
