This is one of the required items to summon/tame the Mechanical Iron Juggernaut pet. Mechanical pets are a new type of pet that Hunters are able to tame in 7.0. Goblins and Gnomes are the only classes that innately possess the ability to tame Mechanical pets. Other races must gain the ability through Meccamatrice di Stampa, a device crafted by characters with Engineering.

To get your Iron Juggernaut, you must gather the appropriate parts:

Nucleo Energetico di Miccianera - Drops from Ingegnere d'Assedio Miccianera in Normal/Heroic/Mythic Siege of Orgrimmar. Only Hunters are able to pick it up and only 1 drops per kill.
Mucchio di Parti di Mastodonte - Same rules as above with the power core. Drops from Mastodonte di Ferro.

And one of the following:
Secchio di Vernice Grigia - Chamber of the Paragons - 73.23, 81.43 - Behind some crates against the wall of the hallway
Secchio di Vernice Blu - Kor'Kron Barracks - 28.02, 37.58, next to a flaming brazier
Secchio di Vernice Verde Acqua - Artifact Storage - 44.17, 28.67 - Behind large pillar to the right of the ramp exiting where the encounter takes place.
Secchio di Vernice Verde - Cleft of Shadow - 40.77, 76.79 - Inside the hut on the right side near the doorway

Co-ordinates are approximate, but should get you close enough to find them.

As you can see, there are four colors to choose from. This dictates what color your pet will be and are found hidden within the Siege of Orgrimmar raid in various areas. As of 7.0 Pre-Patch, I was unable to collect the paint buckets until I had already collected Nucleo Energetico di Miccianera and Mucchio di Parti di Mastodonte

Once you have collected the requisite parts, you will combine them to make:

Mastodonte Grigio Disattivato (or whatever color you chose above) - This item then allows you to summon the pet. It will be neutral and won't attack until you start taming it and no one else can interact with it. He does not hit hard (I tamed mine without using aspect).

Unless you are a goblin or a gnome, DO NOT MIX THE PARTS without first gaining the ability to tame mechano pets through the Mecha-Bond Imprint Matrix. I made the mistake of mixing the parts with blue paint, and I ended up with a blue juggernaut that I couldn't tame. Guess will have to farm the parts again and wait for Legion.

I did this last night,
I got the parts and finished the raid. It would not let me use the item on the Broken Isles.
It was not until I logged on today and tried again that it said that it can only be done in SoO.
So when you get it, go ahead and do it there.

This is bugged. When you assemble and summon in SoO, it says (at 111) that you are not a high enough level to tame it (it's a 110). Seen it also posted on the forum, so if you try and it doesn't work. Put in a ticket to get it back until they fix it.

As of December 15th 2018, this item summons a mechanical beast that can actually be tamed.

The issue has been fixed!

Edit: I have been corrected, this is possibly a max-level-required pet, since the issue itself has not been fixed.

@ enistoja No, the issue hasn't been fixed. the pet is tamable at lvl 120 but the issue still remains that it should be tamable at lvl 90-119 and it isn't. so, still gotta wait for the hotfix/patch notes to let us know when its fixed or just lvl to 120 and then tame it. (and like the quote below says, its an old bug so who knows when its gonna get fixed if ever... most likely it'll remain a "max level" pet)

For hunters that are 110+, please note that there is a bug that causes some attempts to fail with a "Creature is too high level for you to tame." message. There are many other forum topics covering this, as well.

I submitted a ticket a few days ago and this is what Blizz had to say:
So, at the moment, there does indeed seem to be a bug that is requiring you to be level 120, instead of level 90, to tame a Juggernaut pet. I went ahead and restored the item needed to spawn the juggernaut for you, so that should be waiting in your mailbox now, so you can give it another shot when you reach level 120. You can also keep an eye on Hotfixes blog posts on the WoW website, and if you see it say that the level requirement has been fixed, you can go back and try again after that. Just make sure you've used the Mecha-Bond Imprint Matrix, if you haven't already, as you'd need that to tame mechanical pets.

Let us know if you need a hand with anything else! :D
Looks like I'm waiting until I'm 120 now. I wouldn't hold my breath for any kind of hotfix given how old this bug is. I am annoyed that I took some time from questing just to get this pet, but otherwise glad there is an explanation and a resolution. No biggie!

Just letting all you hunters know that to combine the items you need to click on the bucket of paint. Also, you have to be in the instance for it to combine, any place is fine.

Once combined you will have the item in your inventory, click it and your Iron Juggernaut will appear. Tame it and its yours!
Don't forget to visit the stable master to clear a slot...

not sure when it was patched but just tried it today (18 Oct 2019) and when used, the juggernaut mob it spawned was lvl 90 and was tamable by my 111. (i tamed the grey version but am assuming the other colors are also fixed)
