To get this mount, you have to finish next questline with your Direbeak Hatchling:

1. Level the hatchling to 25.
2. Take your falcosaur hatchling to named city.
3. Defeat 3 Rose Taipan pets using your hatchling.
4. Complete 5 World Quests with the hatchling summoned out for a specific zone.
5. Start and complete 3 Pet Battle WQs with the hatchling as primary pet and summoned out.
6. Complete 1 Rare Elite WQ with the hatchling summoned out.
7. Defeat 3 specific wild pets using your hatchling. (different ones than #3)
8. Complete 3 PVP WQs with hatchling summoned out.
9. Buy an item from Dalaran for the hatchling. As reward you'll get (Item #142497)
10. Defeat 3 specific wild pets using the hatchling plus 2 pets of a specific pet family.
11. Defeat a dungeon boss with the hatchling summoned out (any mode).
12. Defeat 3 specific wild pets using the hatchling plus 2 pets of a specific pet family.
13. Bring your Hatchling back to Nest.

As of Patch 7.1 there are 4 new Falcosaur pets. Each of the pets is associated with a different world quest around the Broken Isles. These pets all provide a quest chain to obtain a different mount. These quest chains require a couple of weeks to complete as each subsequent quest becomes available from your summoned pet after the daily reset after completing the previous quest.

To get each pet, you must first kill the Matriarch in the world quest area, which will cause the NPC version of the pet to spawn. The next step is to go to the NPC and interact with it and feed it its favourite food. If you don't have the food, you won't obtain the pet. There are vendors selling the required foods at the closest flightpaths to each world quest for most of these so just remember to pick some up on your way there!

Important note on orphans: I've encountered issues with the orphans not spawning after killing the matriarch. This isn't affected by the matriarch's nest but it does seem to be affected by getting the last hit on the matriarch. If you can't see the orphan after killing the matriarch then you may need to wait for the respawn. To check if you have completed the requirements to see the orphan run the scripts below.

This pet can be picked up from Piumanevosa Orfano in Highmountain (/way Highmountain 32.5, 28.2) after killing the Matriarca Piumanevosa (/way Highmountain 35.1, 21.9). The food it wants is Corno Affumicato, which can be picked up from Marius Stroncavile (/way Highmountain 29.8, 40.0).
Summoning this pet offers you the quest Far crescere il Piumanevosa which starts the quest chain to obtain Cacciatrice Piumanevosa.

This pet can be picked up from Scrutasangue Orfano in Azsuna (/way Azsuna 35.5, 7.5) after killing the Matriarca Scrutasangue (/way Azsuna 35.6, 5.7). The food it wants is Grappoli di Azsuna, which can be picked up from Nalysse Albatruce (/way Azsuna 47.2, 41.4) - this one is a long way from the quest area so try to plan ahead or you'll be running a long way to find food and will have to kill the matriarch again.
Summoning this pet offers you the quest Far crescere lo Scrutasangue which starts the quest chain to obtain Scrutasangue Predatoria.

The food it wants is Formaggio Stagionato Vrykul, which can be picked up from Custode Dayton (/way Stormheim 71.6, 60.6).
Summoning this pet offers you the quest Far crescere il Beccotruce which starts the quest chain to obtain Beccotruce Brillante.

This pet can be picked up from Grinfiafina Orfano in Val'Sharah (/way Val'Sharah 47.0, 10.5) after killing Matriarca Grinfiafina (/way Val'Sharah 48.0, 9.8). This world quest is somewhat awkward to get to but I recommend coming in from Highmountain (glider from a high point in the north-west or water walking around from the coast). The food it wants is Mirtilli Essiccati, which can be picked up from Fialla Baccadolce in Dalaran (/way Dalaran 52.6, 34.4) - there are a variety of vendors in Highmountain who also sell the item should you choose to get to the world quest from there.
Summoning this pet offers you the quest Far crescere il Grinfiafina which starts the quest chain to obtain Grinfiafina Verdastra.

I've found that instead of waiting for server reset to complete the next step, I can just log onto a different character, summon the pet, and then get the next quest in the chain. This has worked for me so far excluding the last quest, which is where you return the hatchling to its nest.

Just an FYI, Having the same color pet and mount out spawns a "Heart" emote between them....awwww

If you can't see any of the Hatchlings after pre Patch 8.0 enable War mode and return.

Some stuff seems to be broken and phased without War mode on at the moment.

These quests are daily, but if you hand it in on one character, you can pickup the next one on any other character that has not completed one yet.
