9-10% aoe dps

Does not proc on holy and protection paladin, but surprisingly works on retribution paladins, even though it's not on paladin's loot tables.

Source: A druid gave it to me so i could test, no one needed.

I currently have the Heroic version on my discipline priest. It does not proc atonement as stated above. Its damage also seems to be bugged. It is doing about .5% of my total damage. Based on the math it should be ticking for 10-15k damage, however it is only doing around 3k damage per tick.

Seems to be proccing from moonfire and sunfire ticks, the only trinket I've seen so far that has the same pattern. Will do a bit more testing and confirm or deny.

This procs off of DoT ticks.

However, the damage output can vary wildly. On some pulls it will contribute 10-15% of my total damage output, while on others it only does 1-3%. The average from my data falls right around 7%, though I don't consider my sample size to be large enough to make that more than a rough estimate.

Testing by more folks is definitely needed, as this trinket has the capacity to be a really, really solid choice for some classes/specs.

Just wondering, I have 2 trinkets with chance to proc on spells and abilities.

Caged Horror and this Trinket. I have only seen Caged Horror Proc. Do they cancel each other out or am i just having really crappy luck with my procs.

I'm a shaman. Caged Horror Procs has proc'd with all 3 specs.

I've got the 850 version of this trinket and the damage output is very low. Tried using through Violet Hold and on every pack it proc'd damage was around 300k.

In addition to being a boss drop, this trinket can be a reward from a World Quest that requires you to run Boschetto Cuortetro and kill the rare boss Kudzilla.

Proc info:

No ICD
Breaks CC
Damage ticks every second
Damage can critically strike
Damage areas stack
No impact damage from the star itself
Damage is increased by spell damage modifiers like Runa del Potere
Damage is not split or diminished when multiple targets are in the area
Area is about 5 yards in diameter
Has a habit of proccing when your target is about to die

Using an ilevel 730 version on my level 103 affliction warlock, I noted the following in my overall dps meter for 1 Eye of Azshara:

7. : 4.23M (4.3%)
8. : 3.41M (3.5%)
9. Melee (Razeburst): 2.01M (2.1%)
10. : 407.9K (0.4%)

8 is the trinket.
7, 9, and 10 are from my warlock pets (Infernal and Doomguard) that I alternate between for single and multi targets. Totaled, they did about 6.7% of my dps. The trinket did 3.5% so it did more than half of my pet dps by itself. Not yet conclusive but impressive so far. Will add more data.

Beware for those using this in Mythic+, this trinket's effect looks EXACTLY like a Sanguine patch.

I just got this on my Level 60 Warlock in a DHT M+17. Considering this is the first time it's been feasible in combination with this tier of end-game, I look forward to playing with it.
