Seeing this item on 02/10/16 - when it was added to Alpha build - I'm assuming this will be used to unlock the transmogs for the wardrobe even if you can't equip them. Could be wrong though.

EDIT: So, now that 7.0 is live on EU servers, it seems that the price is 10 000 gold. I'm ok with that since it isn't that much.

I just want to ask is this an item for people who never did the gold challange and can buy it or is it for people who did the challange?

Completing Signore delle sfide: Oro grants access to a series of specialized cosmetic weapons (as below). Arsenale: Armamenti dello Sfidante di Draenor is a coming item in Legion that will unlock all of these weapon appearances for your account, thus making the appearances available on any alt you may have on that account (including those you HAVE NOT completed Challenge modes on!)

This item will be available for 10,000g from Sfidante Forgiasoli (Warspear - ) or Sfidante Savina (Stormshield - ), and must be purchased on the character that obtained the Gold achievement. Once used, however, the appearances are unlocked for ALL characters via the new account-wide transmog system.

An IMPORTANT note - with the new transmog system, ONLY the appearances for weapons you can use on your class will be added to your transmog collection come Legion, if you have purchased each weapon individually

For example, the Arco Lungo Vivente appearance WILL NOT be added to my collection if I purchased it on my Sciamano that complete Gold Challenge Modes, even if I have the Arco Lungo Vivente in my bags.

HOWEVER, if you purchase, Arsenale: Armamenti dello Sfidante di Draenor on the class that completed Gold Challenge Modes and "learn" it, it will unlock appearances for ALL Challenge Mode weapons - including those not usable by the class it was purchased on

For example, a Sciamano using Arsenale: Armamenti dello Sfidante di Draenor will also add the Bow, Gun, Sword and Polearm appearances to the transmog collection, even though those are weapon types not usable on a Sciamano; once in the transmog collection, these apperances can be used by other alts.

It's important to note that presently, the transmog weapons unlocked by Signore delle sfide: Oro are not immediately rewarded, but must be purchased for 1000g each from Sfidante Forgiasoli (Warspear - ) or Sfidante Savina (Stormshield - ). As such, if you are planning on purchasing multiple weapons for transmog purposes, it will save you some gold to wait for Legion and unlock them all with Arsenale: Armamenti dello Sfidante di Draenor.

It's BoP, so, does that mean, if I buy it on one toon, that I'll be able to use my CM weapon appearances on all of my toons, or just that one specific toon, whom learns this?

Sorry if stupid question, I have very little information regarding this in Legion.

Surprised that nobody mentioned this yet, but I'll put it out here.
If you use this on a character that has completed WoD CM gold, used this item, and then try to log on to a low level toon that is lower than level 100, they cannot use the collected weapon for their class for trangsmogrification, as they are not a high enough level for it.

I bought this on my Paladin, who has completed WoD CM's and it didn't add the apperances to all my other characters, it only gave them the ones of the weapons he had purchased individually before the patch hit. So as of right now, it seems a tad bugged.

So I just completed Challenge Mode Gold two days ago. Does this mean I didn't have to buy all weapons on the character I completed them with? Or will the price of this token maybe scale down with how many weapons you have already bought?

Seems like I just wasted 16k gold, and I knew there was a risk doing it, but I didn't wanna risk not being able to purchase the transmogs AFTER the prepatch came out, since it was unclear if the token might only unlock the weapons *that character* owns to all your toons account-wide.

I'm not complaining about this token, I love that they did this, but a little more information on it would have been nice. :/

Reading the comment from "Jardon", it seems I had been right with my first concerns. At least up until now. Hope they'll fix this somehow...

bought it and it worked on all my horde characters switched to my ally monk on the same server aaaaaand none are unlocked. bug or intended?

After 7.0 launch, I tested by buying the Arsenal on one of my chars, and like jjanchan said, it indeed awards the transmog look to all my chars on the same account. So 10,000 gold is actually quite a bargain.

Tweet Warcraftdevs, ask them for access to the MOP transmog similar to this, maybe if they get enough interest they will allow us to purchase all the other transmogs that were available similar to the way Arsenal: Draenor Chellenger's Armament works. I've already sent them a request to add this to the MOP vendor, please do the same to help get some backing for our request.

Went to the NPC that it says sells this and I can't see it, so I'm assuming they removed it. Damn.

So since this exists, I wonder one thing. Why don't they just give (this, or in some similar way) all challenge mode items in appearance collection to any character that completed it and remove the NPCs selling those? People can't get it anymore, and those who have it have most probably purchased it by now.
