Solfato di Oscurite is found in the HEROIC dungeon Forte Corvonero shortly after you start going up the stairs. You can complete this after killing the last boss by simply running back.

So because their are 1000 stair cases in that dungeon I thought I'd elaborate. After you kill the first boss, pass the first set of boulder stairs you will enter a room then in that hall their is a room to the right go in the box is sitting their.

The item is near the bottom of the stairs. It is guarded by a Vilsegugio Fiutorosso, so if you run down alone to get the item after the last boss is dead, make sure you have a stun or something available.

This is only on the heroic version of the dungeon - ran it on Mythic and couldn't see the item there, and didn't get credit for killing the final boss.

The crate is in the western most room off the circular corridor after the 2nd boss, before the second boulder staircase in the "Ravenshold" portion of the dungeon (see map).

After searching for this item forever and not finding any helpful comments:

You can NOT loot the Sulfate on Normal difficulty, as someone else suggested somewhere.

The item, if you look on your map, is in the "Ravenshold" level of the dungeon, in the second room that shoots off from the main circle, before you continue up the next flight of stairs. You will find it to your left upon entering the room, sitting between two wheel-like things.

I ran this heroic dungeon and left after killing the last boss without checking the quest progress, thinking the item I
needed was looted off the last boss. I came back on normal difficulty, per belief that I could get the item, but not the boss kill credit (didn't matter, I already had it).

Hope this clears some things up and others won't have to run this dungeon three times in a row like me!

Found it on Mythic difficulty. Killed last boss first, ran all the way back to the room before 2nd stair w/ boulders, killed the dog and got the item.
