Just dropped for me in the Stormscale Cavern in Stormheim. The mob was either a Storm Drake Whelp or Adolescent Storm Drake.

Anyone know if you need to be level 110 for the pattern to drop?

Got my recipe off one of the storm drakes while doing the WQ. 38,52 area

Got it at level 110, 794 engineering. Cannot confirm that you can get below 110 but can confirm that you can get it if you're not at 800 engineering. I farmed for a good 25 minutes before getting it so I thought maybe I had to be 800. You do not though.

I can confirm that you don't have to be 110 for Schematic: Shockinator to drop. Just got it on my 103 rogue. 700 engineering. I hope this helps someone i couldn't find this info anywhere.

The best place to farm this recipe, by far, is the Stormscale Cavern in Stormheim. The entrance to the cave is precisely at 30,55. This cave is full of several Adolescent Storm Drakes and Storm Drake Whelps which all have a chance to drop the schematic. You can easily kill 7-8 drakes at a time, and they have a quick respawn rate. It took me less than 5 minutes to get the drop.

Farmed at the cavern for an hour before giving up. Engineering level 656. The drop rate is really low but I guess this includes non engineer kills so it can be ignored. There may be something else that prevents the drop. I haven't done all my eng quests so maybe that is it. I am 110.

800 Engie, 83 kills and it dropped in the Stormscale Cavern today, took about 15 mins tops.
