Socket to Me : Jewelcrafting Quest

Crystal Shard - Amberstone Earthrender - Highmountain(55,76)
Inside the first cave to the left as you approach the ravine, within the Greyscale Enclave.

One of the harder to find items required for the quest, it is located inside a cave in Highmountain. Path entrance to the ravine is located at (55,67), which is west of Stonehoof Watch, Highmountain Flight Path. Follow the snow covered paths up the mountain toward Highmountain Peak.

The entrance to the cave is in a ravine (55,75) and upon entry it is named Greystone Enclave.
Follow the right wall into the cave, clearing any hostile NPCs that block your path. After the first two rooms, you will come to a raceway area called Underslog. The hostile-NPC Amberstone Earthwarder is located at the back of this room, behind two waterfalls.

Upon death drops the quest item, Crystal Shard.

Crystal Heart - Golden Hare - Vale of Eternal Blossoms (14,65)
A friendly NPC Golden Hare that bounces around the location, upon interacting with the Golden Hare you receive a Golden Hare, which when used provides the quest item, Crystal Heart.

Crystal Core - Crimson Geode - Deepholm (58,19)
A hostile NPC that drops AoE on the ground, easily avoidable. Upon death drops the quest item, Crystal Core.

Crystal Scale - Lost Netherwhelp - Twilight Highlands(26,70)
A hostile NPC, easy to kill. Upon death drops the quest item, Crystal Scale.

Crystal Shell - Adult Truesilver Crab - Northern Straglethorn(36,56)
A non-hostile NPC, situated inside a shipwreck at the bottom of the quest location. Upon death drops the quest item, Crystal Shell.

Crystal Plume - Crystal Plume Object - Moonglade(33,40)
A lootable object at the quest location, you receive Crystal Plume from it.

** NOTE **
Unlocking the Cataclysm Portals in Stormwind makes this quest much easier/quicker, using them to travel to and from the locations back to Stormwind and other accessible portals.

When the quest is completed, you receive the recipe Design: JewelCraft.

JewelCraft

All gems are obtainable through prospecting, Infernal Brimstone is acquired from World Quests or by Miners.

Okay, this quest takes much time to do, you have to find six gems across the world:

Guscio Cristallino can be found at 35.7 55.9 point in Northern Stranglethorn game zone. There's a shipwreck in the water, swim inside and kill Granchio di Verargento Adulto.
Nucleo Cristallino can be found at 52.0 20.6 point in Deepholm game zone. There's a Geode Cremisi, kill it and loot the core.
Scaglia Cristallina can be found at 26.0 69.6 point in Twilight Highlands. There you'll find a Draghetto Fatuo Perduto mob, kill it and loot what you need.
Cuore Cristallino can be found at 14.2 67.3 point in Vale of Eternal Blossoms zone. There you'll see a golden rabbit, pick it up and get the heart from it.
Piuma Cristallina can be found at 31.2 47.4 point in Moonglade. It's just on the ground, pick it up.
Finally, Frammento Cristallino drops from Fenditerra Rocciambrata mob and you can find it inside a cave in Highmountain. Cave entrance is at 54.2 75.3 point.

Yeah don't follow the minimap POI for this. If you're in a cave with just basilisks, you're in the wrong spot. Head out of there and northeast to 55, 75. Your minimap should call the cave Greystone Enclave.

The Fenditerra Rocciambrata is in the same cave as where you complete the snail race for the Zoom! achievement Zoom!

I found this part of the Quest a little deceiving as the marker shows grey when looking at the map, which generally indicates that the item is underground. Hence why I thought it was in the damn cave that the Earthrender is walking around outside of. Anyway, it's not in the cave, obviously. *le sigh
