The Guardian proc "All damage received is reduced by (Attack power * 15 / 100) (increased by Attack Power). This effect cannot absorb more than 90% of an attack", seems very interesting. It seems Guardian Druids will be quite interesting in 6.2 for tanking almost everything.

So it doesn't give anything else than the passive effect? No passive stats? I just feel like I'd rather have some Spirit or Int as a resto druid than an 8yd splash.. If it heals ALL other allies within 8yds it's fantastic, but if it's only one ally it seems really "meh". Especially because you often have to spread for a lot of mechanics, and tankhealing is mostly covered by Holy Pallies.

Tested on PTR. And so far it splashes to four others. So 5 are healed total when it procs within 8 yards.

This will be interesting how this plays into pvp. Feral druids tripling the length of burst from berserk & tiger's fury... Berserk would outlast the full duration incarnation... I can't see this being allowed (but hope & wish it is).

So is the mythic version for Moonkins useless since it's over 100% chance? Or is there some component that happens like extra damage since it's above a 100% proc?

Edit: Trinket was nerfed to only be excatly 100% for mythic warforged. All other values are lower now.
87% chance for Heroic Warforged
75% chance for Normal Warforged

For some reason as a Guardian Druid using the Seed of Creation Skada picks it up as dealing some sort of damage. Clearly the item states that it only gives the Tank Druid an absorb effect. Having Skada you can view the fight in healing (and shielding) done, but also view damage done in a different window. It shows up on BOTH windows. Is it a bug? Or is it supposed to secretly deal damage too? In some fights it does up to 40% of my Guardian Druid's damage!

For guardians that may be wondering why Seed of Creation isn't doing the damage reflecting portion of the absorb: You need to be in melee range of the enemy that is attacking you for it to activate the damage reflect. The absorb will continue to work as normal, even if you are at range.

I can't believe that more people aren't talking about how great this item is for Guardian druid. I just got it this week and gave it a try. First, I made sure I was stacking bonus armor on all my jewelry since this trinket scales off attack power and bonus armor gives attack power. With the normal mode trinket and ilvl 715 the text on my trinket says it reduces 2,996 damage.

This damage reduction works on everything. It makes dots basically do nothing. It makes AoE packs a joke. It also scales with resolve. With resolve it regularly absorbs 10k-15k.

Also of note, since it scales with resolve and resolve is calculated before absorbs if you're taking damage from trash you can reduce your damage taken by pulling more trash. The more trash that is hitting you the more resolve you get and before you know it you have enough resolve to reduce all the trash damage by 90%.

I LOVE this trinket!

I was tanking a mythic dungeon with a balance druid that had this trinket and it wasn't very fun.

This trinket's Balance proc, Schegge Stellari, combined with basically causes a druid to pull everything in a room, nearly every time they use Starsurge (or literally every time, with the mythic version). Of course he didn't want to change his glyph or swap the trinket.

So for you druids out there -- please think about the negative synergy between those two spells before doing group content. Your tank and healer will thank you.

I love how much of an Astral Power saver this is for Balance. I'd cast Starfall so rarely if it weren't for this trinket. It's been so effective that I'm hesitant to unequip it. Does anyone know if there's a glyph or higher levelled gear that will give me an auto-cast on Starfall?

This trinket is the sole reason I've never leveled my WoD main. He's still 100 and I still regularly play him. Sad the gear/ilvl squish from the BFA prepatch ruined the procs and lowered the % based numbers. Numbers will probably go down again with Shadowlands with the gear squish we're seeing on Alpha. Still, fun to have him 100 still.

Wish I kept a shaman around 100 too. The class trinket for enhance still seems to be good and up there. Ilvl squish didn't touch it much since it had a 435% damage modifier, now it's at 43% so it's still useful.

Anyone that has 100 mains from WoD still, consider that a prized trophy.
