Just how much health does this bad boy give?

Normal: 48 Stam fully stacked up = 1440 Stamina x 60 Health per stam = 86400 Health!
Heroic: 55 Stam fully stacked up = 1650 Stamina x 60 Health per stam = 99000 Health!
Mythic: 63 Stam fully stacked up = 1890 Stamina x 60 Health per stam = 113400 Health!

This trinket is so impossibly bad it boggles the mind. What is the point of having more health if it disappears when your drop below 60%? More health is supposed to be the difference between dying from taking a bunch of damage and barely living. With this trinket you may as well not even be wearing it because it goes away when you're low. It's like having a trinket that makes you take less damage only when you're not taking damage. Utterly pointless except for taking a single big hit.

Does it start stacking as soon as you equip the trinket or do you need to be in combat?

I recently received this trinket and have been experimenting with it. Worth noting is that when you hit 60%, it's your maximum health that is lost, not your current raw health. Because of this, you'll actually see your percentage HP suddenly rise when your health dips, from 60% to ~75% or whatever your percent would have been if you hadn't been using this trinket.

It's probably simplest to think of this trinket as providing a ~100k heal whenever you drop below 60% health, with less benefit if this is the second time you've dipped within the last 30 seconds. A pretty decent trinket by my estimation, better for some tank classes than others.

I was in a Timewalking (TBC) with a Brewmaster Monk who had this trinket. The buff did not scale down at all and he had the full +1440 Stamina buff. He ended up with 101k health while the rest of us had around 20k.

So, this trinket might be a bit too OP for Timewalking, so watch out for when you lose it

Just saw a BM Monk in Cata Timewalking dungeon with this, he had a flat 180k health, spamming Tocco della Morte with those 180k HP... And we had a hunter with the legendary cloak and ring, and Hellfire Council trinket, and this thing would 'beat' even that dps... Wondering when blizz will hotfix it, or not, because the spell says "10% health, if a boss", and bosses in cata around 180k is more than that.

Patch 7.0 fixed the exploit for Timewalking. Tanks can no longer have in excess of 100k hit points.

From my test run, I wasn't able to teleport out until the full 30 stacks had been reached. Once out, I swapped trinket places and teleported back in. The stacks restarted but again wasn't able to teleport out. That was probably where the exploit originated from.
