Since some videos already exist, how to get to this pet, I'll show you a variant with a hunter. Using the ability to Disimpegno it's pretty easy to get to the loft of the barn for looting the Bicchiere di Latte Caldo for the pet Mucca Pigmea .

I truly wish this is a small glass of milk, with feet and hands and a face, enchanted alive by evil magics, which follows you around. That would be the absolute greatest thing ever. I would name it... Milkman.

now you don't have to buy drinks to restore mana, just summon and drink it, unless you're a Mage.

Finally not-in-game-shop pet with strong healing spell (you not need real money to obtain this cow). Its Mother's Milk have the same mechanic and the same power like Alterac Brew-Pup's The Good Stuff. Really good use in Celestial tournament for healing wounded pets.

You can find this item in your level 3 barn. Speaking for horde side (just got it today) if you enter the barn and hop over the fence on your left, you will find it on the ground near the water trough. I found it almost immediately after finalizing my barn, I'm not sure if it is always immediately available or if there are any other spawn points.

So, how do you get to the glass of warm milk on the Alliance side? I see it through the front window of the barn on the 2nd floor.

For the alliance, this can be located either upstairs in the level 3 barn or downstairs. If you can't reach it when it's upstairs, leave your garrison and try again later and it will eventually be downstairs amongst the other mugs on the shelf.

If it's not showing to you, try to remove your follower, it worked for me.

If you see the milk on the 2nd floor, try swapping your building locations until its on the bottom floor. Got my cow today, named it Milk Duds.

I used Piuma di Aviana to shoot up into the sky and then glide to the top floor of the barn.

This is actually super easy to do. Just get to the cliffs above your garrison and jump to the roof of the barn. Then just slow walk to the front and drop down onto the second floor balcony.

if you don't have aviana's feather, or are not an engineener for the other 2 items, simply get a mage to slowfall when you're on top of the cliff before you jump

p.s. tried to get my barnless friend this companion by moving my barn several times, but the warm glass of milk simply would not respawn.
went to my pet journal to try & cage it to see if that would help respawn, didn't seem to work :[

Obviously, the strategy depends somewhat on where you have your barn placed but once you get on the top it's the same. My barn is in the closest spot to my Great Hall, just to the right and a little down if you are looking at your garrison map. As a hunter I was able to get up on the overhang next to my barn by going up the cliff behind my barn on the right. From there I used Disengage from the very edge of the overhang to the closest corner of the barn and get on top of the barn. From there I got out onto the big horn on the front of the barn and from there I was able to basically just drop down onto the ledge. Not too difficult once you get on top of the barn.

I had the rotten luck of the glass of milk spawning in my level 3 Barn right off the bat. No items to levitate myself and no access to any either, and not a hunter on the alt with the barn, so no disengage. Also had zero luck in getting up to the top of the cliffs and couldn't find any info on how to do so.

I did manage to 'barrel hop' from the stack of barrels to the left of the Alliance barn door, but once on the roof, there was no way to drop onto the balcony as others have advised. The overhang of the roof wouldn't allow it, not even while walking carefully and stepping off.

What worked for me was simple: I exited the game and relogged back in. The glass of milk was no longer on the second floor, but was on the top of a shelf on the first floor with a bunch of other mugs. :D

Saved me a lot of frustration and some gold spent on swapping out buildings. Phew!

For Alliance players, a cheap Goblin Glider Kit works perfectly to get to the upper floor, with a little timing.

Drop the Barn onto the left-hand/southern plot if it's not there already.
Hop up onto the tree root on the cliff nearby, then use a mount to leap onto the roof.
Run up to the top of the roof and out onto the front exposed roof beam over the ledge.
Turn your character to face the rear of the barn, then back out onto the edge of the beam.
Jump, tap the back button, wait just a second as you fall.
Activate the Goblin Glider. It will carry you in the direction you are facing (into the barn).
Enjoy your smooshyface time with the roof beam until you land on the ledge.
Walk carefully off the hay bale if you landed on it. Swipe the glass of milk.

Got mine today using a goblin glider from the top of the barn. Jump from the pet menagerie onto the roof ledge. and move to the tallest point of the back tower. jump and use the glider. Took me a few times to get it, but done right its an easy way to do it.

You may have to take a glider to the ledge of the barn and wait for the CD on the Glider

Horde: May be in the "inaccessible" pen on ground floor. Usual mug model. Will complain about LoS if looted, jump around and you can get over the fence, it grips pretty okay.

If the glass of milk doesn't spawn at all in your barn after upgrading to level 3, try re-logging. I had that issue, logged onto an alt for a minute and when I logged back in it there was on the second floor.

got the glass off the loft by: (1) moved barn to location below townhall and pet arena (2) climb up root of blue tree on pet arena side of tree (3) jumped then used goblin glider to glide to barn roof (4) climb to roof peak turned around and backed out onto the big beam (5) waited for cooldown on goblin glider (6) backed off beam and use glider to glide into loft
(7) clicked on the warm milk mug to receive pet

I had an engineer friend get up into the second floor of the barn with his xd-57bullseye rocket, then did a swapblaster to get me up there and got my milk. I just couldnt get inside from the roof. Then he went to his own garrison and got his

This one was really annoying.. In the end I found that the easiest way is to make the gnomish gearworks and use the Kit per Razzo Guidato XD-57 "Occhio di Falco". I tried for several weeks to do it with the assorted glider and slow fall items, in the end the lateral velocity was just too high for me to reliably control it. The rocket though, it is a bit slower, and clicking off the debuff makes sure you don't overshoot.I tested this on several alts (different locations for the barn), and it a very consistent method of retrieval.

So that is my advice if like me you just seem to can't get this one. Besides at this point the GG is actually a rather good building, but that is another story for another time.

For an alliance hunter, this was pretty easy.

1. Stand on the edge of the cliff between the pet menagerie and the barn, then jump + disengage onto the lower area of the roof.
2. At the peak of the roof at the front of the barn, as you're jumping down, disengage into the window on the top floor.

Took me about 4 tries until i succeeded.

So... after doing a lot of things to try and get my Pygmy Cow I found that there is a way for me as a hunter to get it. If you have your Barn on the large plot between the area that leads to your Herb/Fishing area and the mine you can run up the cliff behind it. It might take a couple tries but a well placed Disengage will land you on the roof. Run around, jump onto the ledge.

I found my Glass of Warm Milk on the Shelf with the cute little unicorn figures on it. It took me a few tries but this was the way I got mine.

As a note, I also removed my follower from helping but I didn't see it downstairs when I did so I do not know if that helped in it's spawning or not.

I never had a problem with either of my Horde characters. The Bicchiere di Latte Caldo was on the floor of the Stalla Livello 3 in the area to the left of the entrance. Had to jump around a bit to get in but finally made it.

ON the ALLIANCE side though, the Bicchiere di Latte Caldo was not there and I resorted to:

This item spawns in your Stalla Livello 3.

I looked around a lot and finally realized it was not there. So, I moved my Stalla Livello 3 back and forth with my Emporio Livello 3.

Swapping/Moving Buildings:
You can do this with any two buildings of the same size plot (ie. Large/Large, Medium/Medium, Small/Small). Go to the table you use to build and upgrade your buildings, then click and hold on the building you would like to move, dragging it to the same size plot where you would like it to move. Drag it over and when you release the mouse button it will swap places with the building that was there. Next time you go out, they indeed occupy different plots of your garrison.

I had to move the Stalla Livello 3 three times. On the third time (I was beginning to believe nothing would help this spawn) there it was! I got a picture for you but if it doesn't get posted (as mine never do), there is a shelf (supported by barrels) in the barn with a bunch of mugs sitting on it. The mugs are all in a group. To the right of the mugs (on the shelf) are a couple of stacked boxes. The Bicchiere di Latte Caldo looks like a mug sitting on top of these stacked boxes. Loot the mug and take the Bicchiere di Latte Caldo. Use the Bicchiere di Latte Caldo and receive your Mucca Pigmea.

Well, I didn't have access to Piuma di Aviana or the glider and didn't want to mess with moving buildings etc. What I did have from Timeless Isle, but unfortunately appears to be a very rare drop, is Fiamma Cadente After about 7 tries I finally got the angle right. My main is a human warrior, stand about 7 steps from the entrance to the barn and HIT IT! ZOOOOMMMM. Landed right on the ledge opening. Walked in, table on right, Glass o' milk right there.

This is far simpler than the other posts would suggest:

The Glass of Milk drops the Pygmy Cow.

To get your hands on the Glass of Milk, simply pick it up from the barn. However, there are a number of spawn points, one of which is in the roof of the barn (which is very hard to get to).

The Glass of Milk appears in the following areas:

On a shelf in the kitchen
In one of the stalls
In the barn roof

If you can see it in the barn roof, simply re-locate your barn and check the shelves & stall. If it's not there, then re-locate again until it is. Forget trying to "fly" to the roof, it's too frustrating!

alliance.
as someone stated previously about relocating your barn, I confirmed this works and was by fair easier after a couple failed glider attempts (got in the the first time but had run on and fell off) and I didnt want to keep waiting for the 3min cooldown on the gliders.

easier for me was to just keep relocating it back and forth with the lumbermill (or your other medium building) until it spawned in the kitchen on the lower floor. I used the trained icehoof to peak up into the loft to see if it was up there, if so, just relocated it, took about 4 swaps till it spawned down on the shelf in the kitchen

If it's on the second floor and you don't have a feather, you can still get up if you have a spirit lodge. I set one of my constructs to have the spring board, launched me right to the second floor.

I've been trying for over a week to get this item. Had 2 level 3 barns and checked them. moved them, got on the second floor, moved them, logged out then in, moved them log different character, move them and nothing

I don't have a water trough either

Mine was located on the top floor (horde) and I was thinking of ways to go there.I then decided I would try Turbine Nero .Used it near the flying master,and god was I amazed when it sent me straight to the 2nd floor on my first try.Just wanted to share this experience with people :D

Tanaan Jungle has a treasure item containing Throbbing Blood Orb that can help you reach the second floor of the Barn.
As of Patch 6.2.2, after completing Draenor Pathfinder, you can also simply fly up to the second level of the Barn, if the Glass of Warm Milk cannot be found on the lower floor.

used my rocket jump to get unto the roof of the barn, went around the side, waited 2 minutes then jumped again, went in and got my milk. goblins ftw :)

You cannot loot cup of milk more then once per charracter!
If you want to collect three of these, you have to build lv3 barn at your alts garrison.

Upvote if you had the necessary building and achievement but you had no idea there was a free grabbable pokemon in your garrison.

Because I had no idea and now I am curious.

And yes, if you have a level three barn, it's there and it's free. A little hard to find, but check the page for the object for some screenshots. For me (Horde) I had to mount up and hop into the pen with no open gate to access it. I looked by the trough and there it was. It's a very tiny grey stein.

Note that it doesn't sparkle if you're looking for particle effects. It shows a gear when you hover over it.

You have to build the barn, and upgrade it to level 3.

I thank everyone for sharing the possible location spots for the 'Warm Glass of Milk', I found mine (Alliance), after switching the Barn out with the 'Trading Post' twice. It was on the upper level, just as you enter 'The Loft', sitting on a wooden crate! Thank you all!
