Obtained by trapping elite wolves, (Direfang Alphas) found in Nagrand using Trappola di Ferro Letale. These have a chance to give Sangue Selvaggio along with more Pelliccia Splendida when turned at your barn for a work order.. Also note that you need a level 3 barn in your garrison to obtain Trappola di Ferro Letale.

Placing a Barn level 3 work order with this cage will give you 15 Pelliccia Splendida or 22 Pelliccia Splendida with a level 100 follower assigned to the building.
You also have a chance for 1 Sangue Selvaggio.
Mantodoro lo Scuoiatore Is probably the easiest follower to get for your Barn if you are in need of one.

You can get two cages from one beast by putting your Deadly Iron Trap right on top of your previous one, then dmg it to 50%

This also works while in groups, if every1 stands on top of each other and places their traps you all get a caged beast.

To trap an animal, you must bring their health down to 50% or less. If you are high dps, have a pet, bodyguard, or trinket proc ... they will usually die before getting trapped. When you place the Trappola di Ferro , it will sit for a second as it opens. It will not trap an animal during this period. Once it is opened, the damaged animal must walk over it.

I use the macro below to keep from killing them before they are trapped. Bring them to 50% then use the Trappola di Ferro macro (below).

You trap animals (listed on the trap) to get one of the Caged Beast listed below. You then turn them in to the ~~<Barn Supervisor>~~<Work Orders> either Homer Pietradura or Contadino Lok'lub. Depending on the type of Caged Beast you bring him, he will offer to start a workorder for:

Clefthoof or Elekk = Bestia Ingabbiata per il Cuoio workorder produces 8 x Pelle Grezza di Bestia

Talbuk or Wolf = Bestia Ingabbiata per la Pelliccia workorder produces 8 x Pelliccia Splendida

Riverbeat or Boar = Bestia Ingabbiata per la Carne workorder produces 1 x Banchetto Selvaggio

(Bestia Ingabbiata per il Cuoio Bestia Ingabbiata per la Pelliccia Bestia Ingabbiata per la Carne - MAY BE IN YOUR BANK to start the work order with them. They fit in the Reagents tab.)

With a LEVEL 100 follower working in your Barn (with the Scuoiatura trait), instead of 8 you will produce 12, or instead of 1 occasionally you will get 2. Followers of lower level do not produce as much additional (stated in the tool tip Scuoiatura).

Those of you that chose a Brewery for your Spires of Arak garrison, will have acquired Hulda Shadowblade at the end of your questline for the zone. Those that did not acquire Hulda Shadowblade, will probably need to find Mantodoro lo Scuoiatore. When you free him you get Amici felini per sempre which rewards Seguace: Mantodoro lo Scuoiatore.

Gran Mammuceronte Ingabbiato, Gran Lupo Ingabbiato, and Gran Bestia dei Fiumi Ingabbiata will give 15/22 instead of 8/12 (without follower/with follower) and have the possibility of Sangue Selvaggio.

TRAP MACRO

Instead of Trappola di Ferro mine is now Trappola di Ferro Migliorata or Trappola di Ferro Letale. (Everywhere in the macro where it says, "Iron Trap", I have added "Improved" so that now it says, "Improved Iron Trap" -- or "Deadly" and "Deadly Iron Trap".)

Type /macro into the chat window and your Macro Frame will open. There are two tabs at the top, General Macros and <CharacterName> Specific Macros. Click on the Character Specific tab and then find and click the New Button (bottom about center). A side window will open with a lot of icons, and the Red Question Mark icon selected. Leave the Red Question Mark icon as the icon selection and type in any name even a blank space will do in the top text area of the side window. So that I know it is a macro, I always give it some name even an X at times. I named this one TRAP.

Now click the Okay button and that side frame will close. Click on the large black text area to position your cursor into the text field, it should automatically be in the top left corner. Now copy and past the commands below into the window ... just as they are typed:

The first command makes the Red Question Mark icon turn into the Trappola di Ferro icon.
Next is the command that stops your Attacco Automatico.
Next will put your pet on passive followed by the command to put your pet on follow.

All attacking has been stopped and the last act is to drop the Trappola di Ferro.

Press the save button and the macro with the name you gave it and the Trappola di Ferro icon will be there in your macro frame. Now you just drag it to an action bar (as you would any spell) and go test it out. And now you have made your first macro and have a bit of an understanding, you can go to:

Can anyone confirm that the double trapping method still work? I just unlocked my lvl 3 barn and have been unable to get more than one caged animal at a time. I still get both guys that show up afterwards, and they both say their normal thing about the catch, but I only receive one item in my bags. Did they fix this with the maintenance yesterday?

I can confirm that the double trapping method got hotfixed January 9 2015.
But if you are in a group, a single trap will award a caged beast for each nearby party member with a level 3 barn.

As of 6.1 these stack to 1000. Also note that forming a group is BY FAR the best way to farm these because you get credit for every nearby caged beast from your group. After about an hour and a half of chain pulls with several groups I managed to farm a stack of 350.

As of Battle for Azeroth (Patch 8.2) I can confirm that Spada Giocattolo Morbida works to wound all but the largest beasts in Nagrand for trapping. It has a cast time, so sometimes aggroing a beast with a non-damaging effect (an interrupt or other cc) can be useful to position the beast over the trap.

Spada Giocattolo Morbida can be purchased from various Toy vendors in Orgrimmar, Stormwind, or Dalaran such as Geppetto Belgioioso.
