This is one of the components for the Auctioneer that can be constructed in your trading post. Once you get a Emporio Livello 2, you will find a broken Antico Meccanismo di Commercio on the floor. To fix it, you need to complete the quest Asta per parti which requires 5 modules.
Each module is made up of 3-4 components, which individually drop in specific places.
Note that all modules and individual components can be traded, vendored or auctioned.

Modulo del Cristallo Arcano - Requires Rivestimento del Cristallo Arcano, Condotto del Cristallo Arcano, Amplificatore del Cristallo Arcano, Lenti del Cristallo Arcano. These drop in garrison invasions and in raids.
Modulo di Controllo dell'Asta - Requires Slot di Memoria dell'Asta, Valvola di Connessione dell'Asta, A.D.D.O.N. per l'Asta. These drop in dungeons.
Modulo del Linguaggio Universale - Requires Compensatore del Linguaggio Universale, Filtro del Linguaggio Universale, Ricettacolo del Linguaggio Universale. These drop in Ashran.
Modulo del Sistema di Raffreddamento - Requires Regolatore del Sistema di Raffreddamento, Tubi del Sistema di Raffreddamento, Refrigerante del Sistema di Raffreddamento, Pompa del Sistema di Raffreddamento. These drop in Shadowmoon Valley, Talador or Nagrand.
Modulo di Potenza Ciclica - Requires Convertitore di Potenza Ciclica, Alloggiamento di Potenza Ciclica, Riquadro di Potenza Ciclica, Sequenziatore di Potenza Ciclica. These drop in Frostfire Ridge, Gorgrond, or Spires of Arak.

Seeing as there's still no reported drops from raid bosses, it's safe to say this only drops from Invasion satchels and Garrison raid bosses whereas the other three Arcane Crystal parts also drop from LFR as well. Personally, I have gotten it in all four of the different invasion satchels from the bronze reward, Sacca Abbandonata dell'Invasore to the platinum reward, Cassa di Spoglie dell'Invasore Morto.

I've been checking the AH every time I'm there for this and have yet to see it. It is literally the only piece I am missing.

OK Bliz, no one is doing the elite invasions anymore, and the lens is selling for 50K on my server.

Please allow this to drop off mobs in the regular invasions. At least then I'll have a chance to get it.

Costs 32k in Zuluhead as well. Haven't even seen an invasion in 6 mos....can you force one?

I really don't understand why Bliz made it SO difficult to assemble the auction robot.

I got one on the first invasion garrison quest I did. Was looking in the AH for other parts, saw these for 30k and up. So I did the kind thing of posting one for sale for 20k. We'll see if anyone jumps on that.....but in reality most of the parts I got from random drops all over. I have not done a single raid or dungeon since cata so they were all found in draenor.
