Spawns in a level 3 herb garden in your garrison. Note that as of 6.0.3, this is currently bugged - the fruit will not spawn if you have a follower assigned to the herb garden. You can remove the follower at your town hall, harvest the fruit, and then reassign once you're done. I love that this persists through death!

This version appears to be a rare spawn of the Mela Verde. It stacks to 10, so theoretically you could probably keep farming the fruit over and over until you get 10 as it has a very quick respawn timer. I've been farming the spawns for about 10 minutes now and haven't seen a second yet. I'll edit this comment later if I find a second!

Edit: also note that it's a conjured item, so it disappears if you log out for more than 15 minutes.

GARRISON HERB GARDEN FRUITS
I personally tested, and looked through each page's comments, as well as the Wowhead guide to put the following information together:

To obtain fruits from your herb garden, you must have Giardino d'Erbalismo Livello 3.
If you have a follower assigned to your garden, you may have to reset him/her in the working slot to get the fruits to appear.
As shown by the tooltip, you can only carry 10 of each type of fruit at one time.
The fruit that spawns daily is random but 2 types can spawn on the same day. Combinations I have witnessed:

They each provide their own secondary stat buff once consumed.
They are conjured items, so they will disappear (from your bags) if you log out for more than 15 minutes.
However, the Well Fed buff will remain on your character and you may still obtain more from under your tree.
The fruit containers have a respawn time of about 10 seconds.

There are 5 types of fruits that will spawn under the tree (next to your herb garden) within lootable 'containers' of themselves.

Arancia di O'ruk (container)
Banana Bucciadura (container)
Ciliegia Gigante di Nagrand (container) - (not to be confused with Ciliegia di Nagrand from the Burning Crusade xpac)
Pera Pelosa (container)
Mela Verde (container)

When looting the containers for each fruit, there is a small chance (~2%?) you may receive a "perfect" version of the respective fruit, instead of the normal version (listed above).
NOTE: you CAN receive the perfect version if you already have all 10 of the normal version already in your bags.

Upon Use, the perfect version will immediately give the 'Well Fed' buff, last for 2 hours (up from 1), AND persist through death, which makes them ideal for raiding.
