Edit: If people really want, they can note it as Out of Date, but don't down vote when it was TRUE AT ONE POINT. Just because YOU didn't see it, doesn't make it FALSE.

To be clear, this item is useless if you maxed your Leatherworking in Mists of Pandaria (to 600 skill level). If you are below 600 skill, you will gain 5 Leatherworking skill points when you combine it with 10 Pelle Grezza di Bestia, which creates Tamburo da Marcia.

~~If you are not yet at that level, you create the green item (Tamburo da Marcia in this case) which is then turned in with the daily quest at your garrison for your 5 skill points.~~

If you are already at 600 skill, don't waste the materials to restore this item.

If you are starting leatherworking from scratch at skill level 1 in WoD, these are a far cheaper option for skilling up to 600 than the "Journeying" items which require 50 Raw Beast Hides to craft, for the same amount of skill ups.
