If your high enough to be in Un'goro Crater you shouldnt be here to farm herbs anyway, Un'goro isnt too abundant in herbs and there are way too many mobs in the way. I suggest to farm herbs in Azshara, same herbs are there as in Un'goro and it isnt so much pain and it eliminates the Bloodpetal Sprout distraction. Hope this helped

The repeatable quest is a big waste of time imo.....I got a package that contained two different food items, 1 major healing potion, and 1 moonberry juice. If anyone else gets anything good off of it plz let me know....waste of time even when gathering while questing.....

And when you're at higher level and you think you want try sell potions AH with collecting bloodpetal sprouts... the repeatable quest is not longer active at Dadanga.

At another side, it looks more wasted time to collect them, with just 1 major potion.
I throw them away to make free room.

It stacks up to 100, but who want collect them all? And it's soulbound item, what a waste.

I don't know if this has changed recently, but there used to be an Alchemy recipe that could only be found from turning in the bloodpetal sprouts. I remember collecting about 200 or so before I got the recipe. I believe it was an elixir of giants or something like that, I'll have to look it up.

Would assume it does for Alliance as well.

In cataclysm, you can leave 10 of these in Dadanga's grave wich will grant you Dadanga's Blessing

When I was finding the 10 bloodpetal sprouts for Dadanga's Grave, I found all of them near by or surrounded by a group of Diemetradons.

When I was questing in Un'Goro Crater I found these to be most abundant along the lower half of the west mountains (west of Terror Run). I do not know if this is by chance but before I went there I only found 2-3 but I easily found 9-10 there.

Essentially one can throw them away without second thought, because:

It does not count towards Missioni del Cratere di Un'Goro, nor 3.000 missioni completate and
(Even number of quests completed in stats doesn't increase!)
The buff Benedizione di Dadanga only lasts for 20 min, isn't very useful
It's a waste of bag space because gathering work won't just take a short time

The quest is not very useful. You receive Dadanga's Blessing increasing your movement speed in Un'Goro Crater by 20% for 20min. It doesnt count towards any achievements at all.

I did it at the end of the Un'Goro quests which was completely useless. If anything, do it early and collect the Bloodpetal Sprouts but the time you gain by increased movement you waste by going to Dadanga's Grave at Marshall's Refuge to return the quest

Is it worth while to do while lvling?Or are potions completely useless even at the area lvl of 50-55?

I completed it to fulfill my questing OCD, but to be honest the amount of time spent on this quest was not worth the spell bestowed upon my character. It was a spell which allowed me to have an increased speed of 20% throughout Un'Goro Crater which is redundant as my Night Elf Hunter is already using "aspect of cheetah" which provides a steady 20% speed increase anyway. Kind of disappointed, but I killed enough time to satisfy my insomnia lol.

Even if not worth it, if you still want to complete this quest you may find some help in bringing the ground clutter settings to low in your graphic preferences.

Those things are easily missed as they're covered by grass and hard to see. Lowering that setting, the game draws near to no grass at all, and it becomes a lot easier to spot them.
