I guss including something into the list monks would actually use like SRK would be to OP?
Monks almost only got utility out of this trinket, no dmg increase.
(Yes, I don't count FoF as with current haste levels with RuneOfReOrigination and combobreaker procs you have already problems fitting a FoF into the rotation)

Seriously? Have we really reached the point where the only way to make item plausible only for certain roles is to artificially make it work only for them? Why won't we simply remove stats from game and just make characters scale according to item level and add requirements like this so to make items role-specific?

The formula for cooldown reduction is (normal cooldown) / 1.39 and not (normal cooldown) * (1-0.39).
A 60-second cooldown ability will thus be recovered in ~ 43 sec.

The proc is called Destrezza and has a 105 sec ICD.

As for Enhancements it now reduces the Cooldown of

4 of 6 are pretty usefull.
BUT having a reduced CD on 1 of our 2 defensives isn't very needed and Spiritwalk isn't even used by anyone since we now can cast Lightning Bolts while moving. It sure can be pretty usefull for heals sometimes but a reduced CD isn't needed aswell.

My personal favour would be a reduced cooldown on one of our TRUE major abilities (Unleash Elements). To bad that EM is a talent and the CD of talents isn't reduced.

As an Enhancement I'm pretty sure that this will be a core trinket for us since Enhancers depend on their cooldowns and even if it will make CD stacking pretty hard or even impossible we will have major damage CD's earlier what will result in a damage gain. As for now with the wrong math it's nice to have a 1 minute with only 3,6min CD.

Speaking as a (BM) hunter: BW, RF, Stampede - major abilities? Check!

Disengage/Feign Death - ok, in a PVE setting these are situationally important. So, check as well.

Camouflage? Camouflage? In a PVE setting we now have a reduced CD on Camouflage?

I wonder whether Blizzard will design an encounter during which the timely use of Camouflage is essential...

I've posted this for the LFR and Flex Raid versions as well.

I have seen a lot of people complaining that the tooltip is a lie because they don't see the percentage of CD reduction that the tooltip claims. THis is because the trinket does not give a reduction to the cooldown time; it gives an increase to the abilities rate of usage. For example we will use a hunter's rapid fire ability. Normally rapid fire is on a 3 minute cd meaning that it can be used ten times in thirty minutes by equipping this trinket the hunter gains a 39% increase in the number of times that the trinket can be used in a given period of time. So now our hunter can use rapid fire 13.9 times in thirty minutes.

30/13.9 = 2.158237 minutes

This shows that the tooltip for both percentage and time are correct.

The reason blizz uses this method for all haste effect including haste rating is to give haste a linear progression of dps. More examples:

Using a hypothetical white damage, with haste effecting time between shots.

If our hunter's auto shot does 1000 damage and fires at a rate of 1 shot per second.

0% haste (1 shot per second) = 1000 DPS
25% haste (1 shot per .75seconds) = 1333.333 DPS
50% haste (1 shot per .5 seconds) = 2000 DPS
75% haste (1 shot per.25 seconds) = 4000 DPS
99% haste (1 shot per .01 seconds) = 100000 DPS
100% haste (1 shot per .00 seconds) = Infinite DPS

We have all seen our haste jump well above 100% due to CDs and timewarp bloodlust heroism what have you. and obviously none of us has ever reached that infinite DPS plateau as sad as that may be so here is a more reasonable table.

0% haste (1 shot per second) = 1000 DPS
25% haste (1.25 shots per second) = 1250 DPS
50% haste (1.5 shots per second) = 1500 DPS
75% haste (1.75 shots per second) = 1750 DPS
99% haste (1.99 shots per second) = 1990 DPS
100% haste (2 shots per second) = 2000 DPS

Now I know that these numbers are simplified and there are other factors involved as well, this is only the base mode of haste implementation, I hope this helps you all understand that you aren't getting cheated by your trinkets and that you are getting the full effect listed.

I am going to guess this trinket will get nerfed once new expansion comes out. Personally I love having the trinket. Downside is not having a main or a secondary stat. I also wonder if this trinket might be more situational for certain fights. Currently I have the normal version and I must say it is very nice to have! Makes things a lot easier to time with trinket procs or when raid decides to bloodlust at odd times in the fight. Better chance your cds will be up.

"Increases the recovery rate" does not mean "Reduces the cooldown by". It's a haste buff to the cooldown.

Let's say Pyroblast takes 3 seconds to cast with 0% haste.
A 50% hasted Pyroblast would be 2 seconds.
A 100% hasted Pyroblast would be 1.5.

In the same manner

Cloak of Shadows has a 60 second cooldown
A 39% hasted Cloak of Shadows has a ~43 second cooldown.
A 50% hasted Cloak of Shadows has a 40 second cooldown.
A 100% hasted Cloak of Shadows has a 30 second cooldown.

To easily calculate the exact effect this trinket would have on any of your abilities:
1/1.X*Y

X = Recovery rate (ie. "39")
Y = Ability base cooldown in seconds

So: 1/1.39*60 = 43.165, Cloak of Shadows cooldown with the normal, non-upgraded version.

I ended up with just about all the SoO flex trinkets on my 553 BM hunter and tested them out to see which would dps the most. I'm sure Talismano di Haromm and Sigillo della Furia probably are great for aoe, but using the target dummies in SW did not prove it, even though I picked the 4 dummies closest together. Here are the results I got:

Certezza del Destino and Detonatore d'Ebano Scoppiettante 152k & 159k, 155k average
Sigillo della Furia and Detonatore d'Ebano Scoppiettante 147k & 154k, 150k average
Sigillo della Furia and Certezza del Destino 145k & 153k, 149k average
Certezza del Destino and Talismano di Haromm 142k & 151k, 146k average
Talismano di Haromm and Sigillo della Furia 133k & 146k, 139k average

Each number is from about a 4-5 minute test, through one Stampede CD. Hope this helps if you get extra trinkets :)

Remember, comparing abilities one-to-one between classes is difficult - there's no rule that says those 3 shaman cooldowns add more dps than those 2 rogue cooldowns. However, comparing abilities between specs can be useful - for instance, an improvement on Black Arrow is clearly more PvE oriented than a Silencing Shot buff. Hopefully this chart can help you decide whether the trinket focuses on the things you want it to for your spec.

This is the absolutely best trinket for any enhancement shaman.

5 out of 6 of those abilities are extremely usefull for high end raiding.

but the trinket first truly shines when you get above 550+ Ilvl where your choices
for DPS talents mostly all the time will be
Elemental Mastery and Primal Elementalist and you will glyph fire elemental.

this lines Elemental Mastery and Primal Elementalist perfectely up since the reduced CD
from the glyph and the CD recovery rate from the trinket, make your Fire Elemental
have almost exactly the same CD as Elemetal Mastery which increases your haste by 30%

just those CDs will make you do at least 30k+ dps for the duration of your Fire elemental.

I know the trinket also makes the Elemental Mastery and Ascendance combo
which you had every 3rd minute, unviable.

But if it does happen that you won't have Elemental Mastery and Ascendance at same time,
then you should use the Earth Elemental's Empower to make you do more damage during
Ascendance.

This combo will be available at least every 2nd Ascendance (because the trinket also affect Earth Elemental)
. it might not provide you with the same amount of dps as Elemental Mastery and Primal Elementalist,
but it's still at least 20k+ dps

Feral Spirit's DPS are hardly noticeable so you shouldn't worry about chaining this CD with other CDs.

Shamanistic Rage: 30% damage reduction and no mana cost for offensive abilities are always usefull.

Utterly amazing item for Combat Rogues. According to shadowcraft.mmo-mumble.com, it is the best trinket you can have (the raid-finder even beat heroic of the other two SoO-trinkets by a pretty fair amount). With my flex-version and Restless Blades, Adrenaline Rush and Shadow Blades usually get down to less than 1 min CD. I can literally pop Killing Spree, AR & SB, then another KB. Just a few more seconds, and another AR/SB-combo.
Not only does this mean amazing DPS, it also makes it even more fun to play a rogue.
Reduced CD on Cloak also mean no need to worry about Iron Stars from Garrosh (with flex-version, CD is shorter than time between each star) and same with his Whirling Corruption.
In short; Playing as combat rogue? Get. This. Trinket.

Ok i just got this trinket tonight out of Flex Raid.

I play only Survival (one spec glaive toss 2nd spec is barrage. I'll change up my spec to test for the other 2.)

As Survival i saw these changes while the trinket was equipped.

Feign Death 23 seconds down from 30 seconds.
Stampede 4 minutes down from 5 minutes.
Rapidfire 3 minutes down from 3 no change.
Black arrow 18 seconds down from 35 seconds.
Cammoflauge 45 seconds down from 60 seconds.
Disengage 8 seconds down from 20 seconds.

I ran out of valor so i was not able to upgrade the trinket yet (may change these numbers) Also if i manage to get the regular raid i'll update and let you guys know if it is any different.)

As Beast Master my CDs are decreased by 26% not 35% at 540ilvl item
The CDs are as follow:
Rapid Fire 2,22min. (down from 3 min. =74%)
Bestial Wrath 44,4sec.(down from 60 sec. = 74%)
I haven't checked other CDs yet.
I think there is something wrong with thos percentage.

This trinket only drops from the vault of forbidden treasures. Does that vault only come from normal and up? Cause I haven't seen the vault appear in LFR or FLEX yet.

Or do I get the trinket from sha of pride aswell as the chest token in FLEX/LFR? And the vault only appears in normal and up? Can anyone answer me please?

Wow. What an absolute waste of a trinket for a Windwalker Monk. Because while raiding I really need it to work on my Zen Meditation and Transcendence Transfer, no one uses FoF or Flying Serpent kick at this level. Blizz, what were you thinking? It's pretty good for other classes, how about something useful for dps Monks? (like Spinning Crane Kick, Rising Sun Kick or even Touch of Karma) I'll keep my Viscous Talisman of the Shado Pan Assault even though it's on level 522.

The 4/4 upgrade on this is wrong in the tooltip. I'd tell you what the real percent and agility would be, but I don't know. :( I know it's not 1.57% increased recovery rate though. :P

For hunters with this (the LFR version) with 2 upgrades, it will have the following affects on your CD's.
All specs:
Stampede goes down to a 3.76 minute CD, down from 5 minutes
Disengage ( with crouching tiger hidden chimera) is a 7.52 sec CD down from 10. Without CTHC it is a 15 sec CD down from 20
Camoflauge- has a 45.1 sec CD, down from 1 minute
Rapid Fire - has a 2.26 minute CD, down from 3 minutes
Feign Death - 22.6 sec CD. down from 30 seconds

Survival:
Black arrow - has a 18 sec CD, down from 24

Marksmanship:
Silencing Shot: 18 sec CD, down from 24
Beast Mastery:
Bestial Wrath: 45.1 sec CD, down from 1 minute

I can only assume there's some kind of weird tech math I know nothing about at play here like how Mannoroth's Fury increasing aoe size by 500% makes it like 1.25 times as big instead of 5 times. But can somebody please explain how 33%(upgraded) increased recovery rate is only 25% shorter cd time instead of 33%?

*eye twitches* Silencing Shot ? SILENCING SHOT ? Oh sure: BM-Hunters get Ira Bestiale and SV-Hunters get on a lower cooldown timer so MM-Hunters don't get that bonus for Tiro della Chimera. That's totally ok... not !

-Chimera Shot is the shot you get by chosing that spec
-Chimera Shot is one of the MM-Hunter's most powerful shots
-Chimera Shot is part of the MM's rotation
...but not one of the "six major abilities" ? Just &*!@ you, Blizzard. #$%^ you.

Shame Readiness was removed. I'm quite sure this item was designed before that decision was made.
Every Hunter get's Stampede, Rapid Fire, Feign Death, Disengage and Camouflage on a lower cooldown but then also one DPS relevant cooldown - except for MM (insert "HAHA !" here). Sucks. Just sucks. !@#$ing Silencing Shot.

I have tested this trinket in PvP zones and got strange results.

First of all CD reduction works like as follows:
a: Duration of skill's cooldown (e.g. 60 seconds for Shadow Dance)
x: Recovery rate percentage (24 for 501 item level)
b: Reduced duration of skill's cooldown

Formule is: b = a/1,x

As the supposed duration of Shadow Dance's CD with this trinket in PvP Zones should be 60/1,24 = 48,4 seconds, the duration of Shadow Dance is 56,1 seconds (a recovery rate about 7%) when I equip this trinket in battlegrounds.

I renewed my Cache, WTF and Addons folders but nothing changed and wrote a ticket to GM but couldn't gete any satisfying answers except that they haven't got any bug reports like mine.

Does someone have any idea?

I have an item level 567 version of this trinket (warforged normal mode upgraded x2). My hunter ability cooldowns are as follows :

Disengage : 6.9 seconds (With the Crouching Tiger, Hidden Chimera talent)
Rapid Fire : 2.07 minutes.
Stampede : 3.45 minutes
Camouflage : 41.4 seconds
Feign Death : 20. 7 seconds

Black Arrow : 16.6 seconds (interesting as the duration is 20 seconds... Could sort of multi dot with it for brief periods)

Bestial Wrath : 41.4 seconds

Silencing shot : Unknown (Don't have MM spec).

I believe the description/percentage Blizzard wrote is a lie. At fully upgraded this item says it will reduce cooldowns by 48% but find this to be far from reality..

For example with my hunter, my stampede's cooldown is 5 minutes normal, so a 48% reduction should be 2 minutes 36 seconds, however in reality the cooldown is 3.38min. Rapid Fire, 3 min CD normal, should be approximately 1m36s, instead it's 2.03 minutes. Same goes with the other abilities it reduces.
