Ok so all previous blizz store mounts, have required level 20, and have been BoA, no other rare drop mounts were BoA tagged, aswell as level 20, Some mounts have req level 20 but have been soulbound. The only mounts that have ever had the "Bind to Account" tag on the learn item themselves are Store Mounts. This is what leads me to believe it's probably a store mount.

It has the same color/armor scheme as Anzu, it uses the same animation set as the Druid Swift Flight Form, it's called Stormcrow, for Fandral's sake: it's definitely a druid-only passenger mount :)

All pure speculation at this point, but given that Blizzard's most recent rumored trademark "Heroes of the Storm" is not a troll/hoax, as "The Dark Below" was, I'd say that this would be a strong candidate for being a Collector's Edition mount. Nothing to confirm or deny anything I'm saying, but until we know a:)What the next expansion is going to be, and b:)Where this mount will come from, I see no reason why it's not entirely possible.

I think with the WoD expac this maybe a away to make a bit more lore on the storm crows with the Arakoa. and this be a reward similar to the epic flight form quest chain in TBC. Also, this could be a great way for blizzard to plug a race combo for druids that is new like Orc and Dreanei druids.

Seeing how this will not be a store purchase mount...the Drago Fatato Incantato will be store bought.

I suddenly have a sickening feeling about how this mount is obtained...and this is just speculation.

In the upcoming expansion Warlords of Draenor, the future Heroic dungeons of Auchindoun and Arakkoa Spires, I've got a feeling that this might come from one of those.

Or...

The Arakkoa Spires might have a faction that will sell this mount once exalted.

or...

World Boss (joy, I get to be the joke of the RNG Gods again...)

I wonder if this mount evolved to become the now worldwide renown Dread Raven, or if it will be a completely separate mount...

Anyway, it still looks awesome, and it would be very difficult deciding which one to get I could only 1... :P

Strange thing that the "Dread Raven" is already in game, but does not appear in the Battle.net/wow mount list, but this one (Stormcrow) does...

I wonder why people downvote this....

I really hope for once a mount of this Quality doesn't end up on the Blizzard Store. Maybe it will end up being for some sort of quest chain or Raid Achievement ie: Glory of the ______ Raider.

My guess is that this mount will have something to do with Heroes of the Storm when that's released... Can't be sure though

I tried to mount a Storm Crow once. Got a papercut, and didn't actually get to fly anywhere. Was very disappointed.

My thoughts on the existance of this item is that Blizzard originally planned for Anzu to be the a Spires of Arak world boss instead of Rukhmar and they made this before they made the Falco delle Guglie Solare as Rukhmar's drop when they most likely changed their mind about it.

Speculated to already be in the game in a super secret spot like the hidden murloc egg or the mesmerizing fruit hat. Perhaps we will one day find it.

One of the devs did say recently that we have yet to figure out one of the (already datamined) secrets. We found both the jellyfish and the pink hippogryph, so I think... I'll go explore Stormheim for a bit.

I have a theory on this mount.. And no its not that it a secret mount that's already in the game or tied to heroes of the storm. I'm think it will be the reward for Warlords of Dreanor timewalking vendor.
now hear me out. for each of the timewalking mounts we got a mount that was already in the game, but never added (except for cata)

BC- amani dragon hawk (self explanatory)

Wrath- Ironbound Wrathcharger (this mount was added in late mist along side with the Warforged Nightmare) (it even has a matching "hitching post" model like the store mount, but was likely removed because it was so similar)

Cata- N/A (to be honest i don't know why cata timewalking didn't give a mount, they have could have given a drake) (maybe the Infinite time weaver is cata's mount)

Mist- Yu'lei, Daughter of Jade (aka heavenly jade cloud serpent) mount has been in the since 5.0) (the azure cloud serpent was also unused but later added as a mount collection achievement)

WoD- Stormcrow?

The devs said that WoD time walking will happen and they said that timewalking will only go from the previous xpac before the last and since Battle for Azeroth will come out by September 22 we will likely have it soon. possibly in 8.1 or 8.1.5 .Now there are other mounts that be in that slot, Or no mount at all like cata

But.. that's just my thinking (also sorry for the LOOOOOONG comment)

EDIT Nov 2nd 2018 (Blizzcon day 1) they announce that Warlords timewalking will be a thing in 8.1.5 however the mount for the vendor is actually two mounts this time. one being a un-armored irontusk and the second one being a armored iron wolf.

however i was right that they were unused mount models....

Surprised (and disappointed) that this was never added to a vendor for the Timewalking event for Draenor. Hope we can see it in-game one day. (and hopefully it wont be a mount collecting achievement)

This mount is crazy to me because of the weird vagueness GMs seem to have even just regarding it's existence, and all the screenshots of people riding it here! I hope someday we might know the answers to this!

I'm just dying to know if there is something crazy and hidden somewhere that rewards it, like Terky's egg was, but more intense!

My theory over the Stormcrow is that it was originally going to be the promo mount for HOTS that involved the MOBA bg that came out in the same patch as Stormcrow.

It's 2022 and I'm still hoping for this mount to be implemented someday... hopefully in the form of some kind of puzzle ala the Long Forgotten Hippogryph or the Lucid Nightmare.
