I really hope the method to obtain this is not overbearing. This has been long-over due. Raids can break simply by not having a mage or shaman, and many comps are not optimal with them aside from that one single ability.

Note that the current Drums of Rage you're seeing are a non-final version. The Drums will provide a 25% haste buff, not 30% -- this really is not terribly different from Runescrolls of Fortitude, Drums of the Wild, or other similar tradeskill consumables that provide slightly weaker versions of core class buffs.

You should still prefer to have a Shaman, or a Mage, or a Hunter, versus a Leatherworker. But in a pinch, it's better than nothing.

I miss drums. I still keep Tamburi della Velocità on my leatherworkers, and any alt that can't buff stats keep Tamburi dei Re Dimenticati in their bags... But being able to always have (edit: slightly nerfed version of) lust/hero for odd 10m comps, or challenge modes, or for solo challanges (brawler's guild, proving grounds, etc....) would just be amazing.

For those interested: if these drums make it 'live', they will be the ~~third~~ fourth type of drums usable at 90 (the others being Tamburi della Velocità & Tamburi del Panico for leatherworkers, and Tamburi dei Re Dimenticati for non-leatherworkers).

Let me get this straight. It has no level to use because it has not been implemented yet or because they actually intend to have it like that? Would that also mean that anything below lvl 70 would be able to pop BL?

This seems like a big asspull. The class specific buffs aren't as special anymore :/ I don't like it.

What would be perfect is for this to have a raid warning when you are in LFR if you would like to use it. Or maybe like a that you only get a few seconds to use it, or else it disappears. Make the user of the item that uses it get the 10 min CD too, no option out of it. Let the user take the burden of using it at the wrong time. Just a thought.

Just in case people missed it - unlike other drums, this does not require leatheworking to use. (this could change at release of 5.4)

It's Bloodlust in a ~~drum~~ can! How awesome is that?

Even better, the 2min cooldown makes this a very powerful item for world pvp and random Battlegrounds. Especially the latter since you'll be dying there frequently -- and thus the 10min 'sated' debuff is usually non-factor (how often do you last the whole 10mins in a BG, especially if you play aggressively?).
