Dear Blizzard,

Please finish this set! It's one of the best looking "modest" sets in the game.

There are plenty of quests in this level bracket that reward cash & XP, but no Armor/Weapons. For the sake of Transmogging, please add these missing pieces to the game!

I collected this today on my male troll hunter. Ace looking set!

As for as other items for it go, I recommend Cappa Reale for a cloak since the blue with yellow/gold trim matches quite well.

I couldn't find a pair of boots I really liked, so I ended up going with Stivali dello Tsunami since they're invisible on male trolls (along with some other race/gender combos, though mileage may vary).

If you really want a tabard, then Insegna dei Ramkahen is probably the closest you'll get though Insegna da Battaglia dei Lupi Bianchi isn't a bad match either.

As for weapons, it's a fairly understated set so a fairly understated weapon may be the best match. Lancia Spinosa di Ghiaccio is a great polearm with a matching blue glow built in which seems to cover some of the less fashionable Cataclysm weapon enchants. I went with Arco Lungo del Gladiatore Vendicativo for my weapon since I've always loved the look of it but Arco della Distorsione Eterea is a little more 'mundane' and still matches the set well.

i use this set on my shaman with Stivali del Cavalcarupe, Cinturone delle Profondità , Elmo del Gladiatore Selvaggio , duel weilding Mazza di McGowan and Mantello della Spiaggia dei Relitti

I find the plate look of this set especially appealing, though the fact it is incomplete is a little disappointing. I've found some lower level items match the set especially well, and keep the simplicity. I plan on transmogging this onto my Female Human Hunter, as it matches the Stormwind colors well.

As it is, these items keep the simplicity of the set that I find makes the set what it is, though I have yet to find a suitable helmet, or a perfectly matching ranged weapon.

What a Beautiful Set! Still looking for a good helm and belt, but found substitutes and good boots. The Back is part of the quest line for most of this set. Enjoy!

For wrist, Jintha'Alor Bracers seem identical to Marshweaver's Wristguards listed here. And for waist, Direglob-Slimed Belt looks pretty good (esp. w/ BuriedOstrich's Silvered Bronze Boots suggestion below). And both are Hinterlands quest rewards (along with 3 other pieces here).

Just a heads up to any plate wearer that is leveling and looking to xmog parts of this set onto their BOA's.... it doesn't work even though the items will say mail: its still technically plate.

Going for a Hunter/Soldier look here. I think it turned out really well. Except the boots. I HATE the boots that get fat at the knee and look all goofy.

Its very vexing that none of the dark vessel sets are complete (and its IMHO the best looking mail set). The black one is in worst state I think.
However what is even worse is that the helmet of this blue dark vessel IS in the game. Look at the Sentinel Hill guards in Westfall - notice the set they wear? Yup - dark vessel with matching blue helmet.

As a head item, you could try the Helm of Thoughtful Gifts. I did. Not the exact same shade of colour as the armour but it does perfectly match Treads of Youth.

Finish off this transmog set with a quest reward pair of boots Enohar's Old Hunting Boots. From the level 55 quest ! Curtail the Darktail. Seems to have been made for this set, and if not it's a very very nice match.

Use the quest reward belt Hambone's Spare Collar from The Cape of Stranglethorn. Again seems to have been made of this set.
This belt has several alternate quest sources for Alliance players.
Mutineer's Noose - The Cape of Stranglethorn
Belt of Lingering Corruption - Western Plaguelands
Direglob-Slimed Belt - The Hinterlands
Paxton's Belt - Southern Barrens
Crackling Girdle - Desolace
Profound Girdle - Desolace

For the missing helm, I went with the Blackforge Cowl that drops off of random trash mobs in Stratholme dungeons. There are other helms you can use, but I like the chain mail.
Two alternate sources for this helm exist.
Ironspine Helm - the Auction House or various level 64-72 mobs
Nexus-Strider Helmet - the Auction House or various level 64-72 mobs

Lastly you can use the Leatherworking crafted Frost Leather Cloak. It's a common pattern obtained from trainers, and fairly easy to source materials in the Arathi Highlands. Truly a spot on match for this transmog.

I was looking for the hands for my transmog, but you cant get the quest fra Jaine before you do the chain starting with: and onwards, takes about 30 min with a 100 hunter.

Nothing irks me more than when Blizzard makes the beginning of a beautiful armour set, and doesn't finish it.

Why publish it as an obtainable item if some of the pieces are missing?

I find that Stivali da Caccia di Enohar and Cintura di Scorta di Ossocotto fit great as other commenters have said, and as for a cloak, I think Mantello della Spiaggia dei Relitti fits this perfectly. Insegna di Roccavento might also look good with this set.

Can someone with LEGION BETA access please confirm whether or not this set can still be transmogged on a Hunter or Shaman? It appears that this and other low level Mail sets are going to be converted over to Plate-only with no alternative!

Sadly in Legion this set will become only available to plate users, it's a real shame for those of us hunters/shamans who previously used this set. Rest in piece, we will miss your simplicity.

Its name isn't fitting imho. Its very alliance-like. And since it can be mogged by horde. I use it to RP my "Blood elf" Is a high elf still loyal to the alliance... which is harder due to gameplay mechanics but eh.

Legion Pre-launch Event has broken this transmog for Mail wearers. This set is now Plate.

I do hope this change is not permanent. I have this set on every hunter I ever leveled, along with Enohar's Old Hunting Boots & Hambone's Spare Collar.

Please fix this Blizzard. It's my favorite Alliance themed transmog.

This was one of my favorite transmog sets on my shaman... Now it's all plate and I can never use it again.

I refuse to remove it from my void storage, where it will sit unused for all of eternity as a catalyst for my seething rage at Blizzard, AKA the anti-fun police... T_T

EDIT: Anyone know what happened if you had this currently as your transmog set when it was turned into plate? I'd assume it would remove the look, but just wondering... :/

As an FYI, this set's appearance--or most of it, at least--is now available from PvP crates such as Cassa di Beni del Campo di Battaglia.

Mail versions of the legs and chest are available again in the Battlefield Goods crates you get from level 10-59.

There also appears to be boots that may be from this set, once again, mail.
Sadly no gloves :(

I found Burndl's Bundled Boots matches this set pretty well. Yes, the shade of blue isn't an exact match, but it looks good on my "hoofed" characters, where the distortion of the boot model makes it look different. :)

I also personally like Turnkey's Pauldrons as alternative shoulders that are bigger and lay flatter against the shoulders like real armor would. There's still the gold detail around the edges too.

If you use Stivali di Larry for the foot slot I recommend mogging your shirt slot to Camicia Grigia Comune it helps balance out the more gray than blue of Larry's Boots to my eye.

Mantello del Buon Ritorno is the best cloak for this set in my opinion, but there's a boatload of blue and gold cloaks in the game.

For a belt, Cintura del G-Team is almost perfect, but there's a little splash of purple along the top that sticks out. Cintura a Piastre Imperiale is a very good crafted visual match.

For paladins and warriors, Scudo Fermapioggia di Shizzle is a nice shield that looks more functional than some of the other ornate choices.

I use this on my pallies, and for one handed maces there's a lot of choices, Martellaccio di Casa Wrynn,Scoriamartello, and Clava di Legno Massiccia are my favorites.

As an alternative to some of the mentioned suggestions for helms, I'm farming Warhelm of the Bold - Elmo da Guerra Ardito&bonus=4099 .

Not sure if anyone else will like it, but thought I'd share it as another option.
