New book (humor for highbrow academians) was located at 36/30 between two blue flags, it's to right of the entrance to the azure archives annex building where you pick up the weekly quest for 5x heroic dungeons and turn in the ancient vault artifacts.

I found Friend at 35.42, 25.57. I found Zaleth at 34.94, 28.17 (in the same building as friend). The books are scattered around the circular courtyard, you need 3.

I had a hell of a time trying to find the 3rd book. It was across fr9m the shelves that Zaleth was hiding. I missed it because of all the other floating books in and outside of that building.

In case you are confused after reading these comments: looks like the things you need to find are in random locations in the area.

For me:

Zaleth @ 34 34 in the bushes
Friend @ 38 37 flying in the middle of the room
Book @ 27 36 right between the two "relaxing dragons"

How do you get this quest? The NPC (zalethgos) isn't clickable and I have finished the day care quest line.

How people found the book and friend is beyond my understanding. Total respect.

"Faint laughter emanates from nearby." message tells that you are quite near the book. After that the /tar Humor helped finding the exact location. Mine was today between the two blue dragons who are drinking tea (next to Uldaman portal room). Seems to swap location a bit.

Did this twice and following are the coordinations

Zaleth @ 34 34 or @ 32.5 30 in the bushes
Friend @ 38 37 flying in the middle of the room or sitting on the ground near the book shelf
Book @ 27 36 (between dragons) or @ 36 30 (between banners)

Hope it helps.

Will update in future if i have more location variance.

Just in case ur a dumb@ss like me. They spawn in different places. I ran around forever today and the two hadn't spawned in any of the places id seen them before.

Walk into the Azure Archines Annex approx. 34, 30 and hit this macro. They will all be marked with raid icons for easy finding.
