if your doing the elixir of suffering quest, these are your best bet for getting the creeper ichor.

It says it's a 6% drop...

And I killed it 16 times before getting one...

So...

16 goes into a hundred 6.25 times...

The percentage is not far off the truth.

after 25mins of killing theese i got the following:
157x Sticky ichor
1x broken fang
12x random greys
56x gooey spider leg
60x small spider leg
86x crunchy spider leg
1x random green
54xpoisoned spider fang
10x spider's silk

everything vendored(-spider slik) gave 1g91s47c ~4.5 gold per hour + sales of spider silk

they seemded to always drop atleast one sticky ichor or poisoned spider fang so theese numbers are for 211 spider kills

Good luck trying to find Spider Silk on these guys... I tried farming on my DK, and got 0 drops, that was after roughly 50 spiders...

I haven't been in the foothills for almost a year since I changed horde. So I don't know if this will help much. I recently changed back to alliance n had to do some of my low lvl quest over. I found that after killing about 20 plus,black widows in duskwood I had 7 spider silks in my bag n gave it to my priest to lvl his tailoring. If ur farming for spider silk that is.

Drop rate 5% huh? I've been out here about two hours killing them nonstop, and I've only gotten two spider silk so far. I'm not sure if this is the best way, but if you're going to be farming, prepare for a long time spent. It's nuts out here.

After little under an hour (45 minutes-ish), I managed to get 5 Spider's Silk off these guys- I was farming up and down the Dalaran Crater, and Uplands (Hillsbrad Foothills). And these guys are 5% drop for Spider's Silk(##RESPBREAK##)16##DELIM##asakawa##DELIM##

Picked up 4 in 2 rounds, given the new drop rate is lower, but it didnt take long.

as of today, 2/3/2021, pretty sure these might not drop the spider silks anymore. unless you have to come here at a lower level. I'm a 30 mage, spent a few hours farming.....not one silk. it's making it impossible to level up tailoring effectively. and they are selling for over 3k on my server.....for a low level non rare mat, that's kinda unacceptable.
