I got the journal from a oozeling corpse. It's no longer on the tree.

Ignore Nibbly's comments except for the part that it can drop from an ooze. The bag is on the tree and there is a dead blood elf body just under it. The coords are correct.

I just got the journal off an Oozling (21/10/07) and can see the knapsack from where I am sat so looks like there's 2 ways of getting it.

The napsack didn't contain any Journal, guess I'm grinding this one out :(

Oozlings dropped the journal for me, all the napsak had in it were a candle and candy.

The body is no longer there, so I'm guessing you get the item through killing the slimes.

His corpse and backpack are still there...just found it at the loc posted above (40,37).

I've always gotten this item from the bag. I was so confused when I aggro'd a random slime and got this as a drop!

I dont think the drop rate is 5% the Journal dropped when i killed The Blistering Oozeling the 3rd time

I also found it from a blistering oozling. Just pick any to attack that's around the corpse.

I have done this quest 3 or 4 times and have found it drops from the same Blistering Oozling every time.

The Oozling is located near the 3 Terrorfiends, I found when looking on the map it is located right where the "3" is.
