So this goes in the crafting slot called "Add Embellishment" but doesn't seem to add the "Unique Equipped: Embellished (2)", so you could in theory include this on a 3rd piece of crafted gear. (I don't think anyone is able to yet because of the limited amount of Scintilla d'Ingegno so far.)

Just tested whether this counts towards embellishments or not since it is considered one however it does not add the "Unique-Equipped: Embellished (2)".

Currently my character (as of making this comment) has the lariat, the crafted dagger with potion inhibitor and the belt with the flavor pocket. All 3 of them equipped at the same time.

So I can safely say this does NOT count towards the embellished items, great embellishment to save yourself some gold in food tbh.

No one is talking about this as a craftable item. After all, what happens if I use it on a bracer, then 1.67 hours later I of course get a much better bracer. Now I've used it already and can't craft anything else with it? Ever again?

Note sure if they changed something on the drop-chance or I am a lucky dude. Got one a couple of weeks ago from the cooking event, sold today for 179k. Went to cooking event again and got one again.

So these cannot be crafted at all, and are random drops from the feast reward item you get when you complete the feast even in Azure Span. They can be bought and sold on the AH, along with do not count towards the only 2 embellished allowed, so their worth using on a crafted piece of gear.

Blizzard you killed all cooking with this bag, food is no longer needed at all, ingredients cost a penny now because of your bag, urgently nerf the bag! remove effect of action after death!
A whole profession was made absolutely unnecessary in 1 click!

For us crafters, this was a source of income! and now no one buys food, they dont buy ingredients either !
Instead of 60 pieces of prepared food, you can buy 1 piece for keys, and 2 pieces for raid! After all, effect does not fly off!

I think the #1 user for this would be a Mythic+ player who is focused on beating timers and minmaxing their performance even if they die. With this embellishment, food becomes a flask, so if you get a ress, you still have the food buff and don't need to spend 10 seconds eating to get a new one. In that sense, if you are serious about M+ and have a suitable non-embellished crafted item, then this is a no-brainer.

However. Crafted items can not have tertiary stats. I think a dropped or Great Vault item that gives you avoidance, leech or speed is potentially more useful than keeping a food buff through death. But, I guess if a better item drops, you can switch to that and then potentially later the crafted item will be BiS again for you when you can recraft it to a higher item level.

Given the cost of this reagent in the AH at the moment, I don't think you can consider it to be a gold saver. It would take an awful lot of buff food to pay for 50k-55k (plus a potential recraft fee and difficulty recrafting to the same item level due to the added recipe difficulty).

This dropped for me from the feast reward. I didn't know it doesn't count as an embellishment, so I put it in the AH and it sold in minutes for a pretty nice amount. I suspect these are going to drop in price slowly, so I can always buy one later, so nothing lost really.

Final thought: if you put this on a weapon (I could have put it on my wand), I guess you can technically swap weapons before you die, if you know you are in risk of dying and that might allow you to retain the food buff. Not tested, so don't count on it working... But if you have a crafted weapon, that might be a good place for this.

Having 2 of these equipped does NOT stack. The well fed buff remains 2h.

You'd only need to craft one item with it, then whenever you want to buff up, just equip that item first, eat and you can unequip that item. No need to buy this again and again when the item gets too low level.

Farmed this with my alts and dropped it twice in a row. It's very rare tho but has much value in AH

Zero drops from 126 attempts in patch 10.2.5. In the previous patch I would have over 10-12 Alchemical Flavor Pocket. They have lowered droprate without documenting it in changelog.
