Leafshadow is one of the seven Ata'mal crystals that are sacred to the draenei--there's one for every color of the rainbow. Other Ata'mal crystals that have appeared in-game are:

Spirit's Song (Purple)
Heart of Fury (Red)

The others are:
Brilliant Star (Yellow)
Eye of the Storm (Blue)
Fortune's Smile (Either Orange or Indigo)
Shield of the Naaru (Either Indigo or Orange)

This is the crystal that was used to secret Telmor, a Draenei town, from sight.

In their youth, Orgrim and Durotan visited here after being rescued by Draenei after being chased by an ogre. When they were brought to the town, they witnessed how one of the Draenei used Leafshadow to bring Telmor to sight.

Years later after much of the Horde gave themselves over to the blood of Mannorath, Durotan was commanded to take Telmor, using the memories of how to disarm the town's invisibility.

He complied, and disabled it, leaving the virtually undefended city open to attack. Much of the population was slaughtered by the Horde. In the midst of the city being sacked, Durotan and Restalaan met in combat.

Durotan fought and killed him, something that rested heavy on him for the remainder of his life. Indeed, the whole Telmor scenario left a foul taste in his mouth.
