This is a reward from an Alliance quest but it isn't bind-on-pickup, so it can be sold on the neutral auction house to Horde players. Horde players can pick up Recipe: Hot Lion Chops from a quest in Tarren Mill, which also uses Lion Meat but goes grey sooner than this one.

This post is for players who stupidly like myself vendored all of their "quest only" patterns for cooking then decided you wanted them all back when you decided to finally level it....open a ticket and ask a GM to have the item restored....they will forward the request to the "lost items" department & in a few days they should send it to you via ingame mail :)

Or the easier way is create a DK alt, run around and pick up these quests and then mail it to your alt that is doing it for the Achievement.

This is a pain in the *** if you are a horde and want the "Chef de cuisine" achievements. Personally I had a friend with an alliance character I could use.

Blizzard should add a vendor for this

The quest for this recipe has been removed so it is currently no longer obtainable.

The only way to get this recipe is to find someone who already got it before cataclysm and is willing to sell it to you.

Edit: Now available from cooking trainer.

I hypothesize that this recipe will turn up for sale from Kendor Kabonka at some point. The reason he came around in the first place was to sell rare cooking recipes or cooking recipes from quests

Sold mine on Boodscalp AH horde side for 17.500g. If you have this recipe it is worth a TON! Don't throw it away or vendor trash it. you'll wish you hadn't.

As of right now, unless you got dirge's recipe, or manage to buy it, with the removal of the sporeling snack, you need both guild recipes to get the Iron Chef achiev.

(recipes removed in the first of cata)

I have all the recipes, except seafood magnifique, dirges, and thistle tea, and tho i got my Iron Chef achiev before the removal of the sporeling snack, and my total on ackis recipes list is 199.

So is this or is this not available any longer in game? The item says No longer available to players on this page, but then some say it is still available from the trainers. Is it available to both Horde and Alliance? Picked one up in the AH today for 2g and was going to go put it in the neutral AH to see if it drew any interest in there for the Hordies...

Still seeing comments posted asking about ability to obtain this recipe. Saltire35 gave the correct answer back on 2011/06/11 (Patch 4.1.0). Please take the time to read comments.

Got this one for 555g from the Auction House which is kinda worth it, since it is not obtainable/grindable iin the game anymore. I can expect a minimum of 3000g at least for this very rare Ricetta: Bistecca Saporita di Leone

1. You can learn it from the Cooking Trainers.
2. Recipe form is removed, collectors hunt removed recipes.

There are other cooking recepies that are now available from Cooking Trainers, because Cataclysm removed questlines and npcs.
